A Day In The Life
 The Hostess or Host is responsible for providing a friendly, warm, and positive first impression to our guests. They will greet customers as they enter the restaurant, take their reservations or put them on a waiting list, provide them with menus and show them to their seats. They may also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.<ul>
<li>Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.</li>
 <li>Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.</li>
<li>Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.</li>
<li>Assign guests to tables they prefer while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the correct number of customers.</li>
<li>Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.</li>
<li>Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.</li>
<li>Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the menu.</li>
<li>Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.</li>
<li>Providing excellent customer service.</li></ul>

A Day In The Life
The best Via 313 bartenders will be prepared for a day full of fun and upbeat tasks. You'll wear many hats, but your primary responsibilities are to serve alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages with confidence and creativity while always keeping the bar stocked up on supplies. Customers should expect nothing less than an enjoyable experience from you-someone who is outgoing and friendly both behind the bar or in casual conversation outside it!
