We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Al Rayyan. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, developing forecasts, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and senior management, to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements. The ideal candidate has strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles within the Qatari market context.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.</li><li>Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.</li><li>Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.</li><li>Provide commentary and insights on financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical data.</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting<ul><li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.</li><li>Monitor actual performance against budget, investigating and explaining variances.</li><li>Support the development of long-term financial models and scenario analyses to guide strategic planning.</li><li>Update forecasts based on changing business conditions, market trends, and operational inputs.</li></ul>Financial Modeling &amp; Decision Support<ul><li>Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and projects.</li><li>Conduct sensitivity analyses, risk assessments, and return on investment calculations for proposed initiatives.</li><li>Support business cases for new projects, product launches, market expansions, and capital expenditures.</li><li>Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership.</li></ul>Data Management &amp; Systems<ul><li>Extract, clean, and manipulate financial data from enterprise resource planning systems and other sources.</li><li>Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all financial reports and analyses.</li><li>Support the implementation and optimization of financial planning and analysis tools and systems.</li><li>Automate recurring reports and analysis where possible to improve efficiency.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Governance<ul><li>Ensure all financial analysis and reporting activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.</li><li>Support internal and external audit requirements by providing requested documentation and analysis.</li><li>Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities and reconciliations.</li><li>Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.</li></ul>Stakeholder Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with accounting, operations, sales, and other departments to gather data and understand business drivers.</li><li>Present financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.</li><li>Build strong working relationships with budget owners and department heads to support their financial planning needs.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience: Proven experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis, or a related role. Experience within the [Industry] sector in Al Rayyan or the wider Qatar market is a significant advantage.</li><li>Technical Proficiency:</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query).</li><li>Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools.</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems and financial planning and analysis software.</li><li>Knowledge of data visualization tools is an advantage.</li><li>Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage for effective communication with local stakeholders, government entities, and clients.</li></ul>Pay: QAR13,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
