Vic&rsquo;s resides in the re-imagined former space of Five Points, the Mediterranean restaurant that Freeman, Meyer and Paraskevaides opened together in 1999. After 15 years, the restaurateurs decided to renovate the restaurant and the result: &mdash; Vic's &mdash; is an entirely new establishment.

This position requires daytime hours, evening hours and weekends with FULL TIME AVAILABILITY. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to):

Interacts with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous and to ensure gracious hospitality</li><li>
Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in The Bowery Group Employee Handbook</li><li>
Anticipate and accommodate the needs of all team members</li><li>
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen, and the entire venue</li><li>
Labels and stores all product following FIFO and company standards</li><li>
Required to check production lists and assignments</li><li>
Follow supervisor&rsquo;s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player</li><li>
Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes with the ability to produce them to company standard</li><li>
Acknowledges team members by name</li><li>
Exhibits positive body language and facial expression</li><li>
Functions as a supportive team member during the course of their shift</li><li>
Possesses general knowledge of the venue</li><li>
Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards</li><li>
Communicates product needs to the chefs, sous chefs and the support staff</li><li>
Properly sets-up prep station and performs other opening/closing procedures as directed by management</li><li>
Wipes down and sanitizes station</li><li>
Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)</li><li>
Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings</li><li>
Learn by listening, observing other team members and sharing knowledge while leading by example</li><li>
Portrays a positive and professional attitude</li><li>
Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion</li><li>
Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials</li><li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays</li></ul>

Education, Certification &amp; Experience
High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Reasoning Skills<ul><li>
