Why This Role Exists</h1>
We have a talented engineering team and junior PM support, but we lack a strategic anchor. Currently, the CEO is the only bridge between business goals and technical execution, leading to vague PRDs and sprints cluttered with low-priority tasks.
We need a Head of Product with 3&ndash;7 years of experience to take full ownership of the &quot;What&quot; and &quot;Why.&quot; You will be the person who translates high-level vision into airtight requirements, holds the team accountable to high quality standards, and relentlessly cuts anything that doesn't drive revenue or retention.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Do</h1>
Strategy &amp; Roadmap Ownership<ul><li>
Define the 4&ndash;12 week product strategy with clear milestones and success criteria.</li><li>
Act as the final filter for the roadmap: evaluate every feature against revenue impact and growth potential.</li><li>
Conduct deep competitor analysis (Opus Clip, Descript, Submagic) to ensure VidRush maintains its &quot;category-defining&quot; edge.</li></ul>
High-Fidelity Execution<ul><li>
Airtight PRDs: Take over and refine all Product Requirement Documents. Every spec must include acceptance criteria, edge cases, and a clear split between frontend/backend responsibilities to eliminate developer guesswork.</li><li>
Jira Mastery: Own the backlog hygiene and sprint planning. Move beyond &quot;moving tickets&quot; to using velocity data to improve delivery predictability.</li><li>
Process Design: Establish lightweight rituals (two-pass syncs, async notes) that work across distributed time zones.</li></ul>
Managing R&amp;D &amp; AI Work<ul><li>
Structure unpredictable AI experimentation using time-boxed &quot;spikes.&quot;</li><li>
Bridge the gap between R&amp;D exploration and product reality, ensuring research stays aligned with business goals rather than chasing every new model trend.</li></ul>
Team Leadership<ul><li>
Manage and mentor the existing PM team (Nayana + Project Manager).</li><li>
Be the &quot;First Line of Defense&quot; against scope creep, pushing back on bad ideas&mdash;even from the CEO&mdash;to protect team velocity.</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
Experience: 3&ndash;7 years of Product Management experience, preferably at a high-growth startup (YC-backed, Series A+, or top-tier Turkish tech like Peak, Dream Games, or Getir).</li><li>
AI Literacy: You must understand the nuances of building with non-deterministic systems (LLMs/Generative AI) and how that impacts roadmap planning.</li><li>
Technical Writing: You take pride in documentation. Your requirements leave zero room for ambiguity.</li><li>
Execution-Driven: You have a &quot;Bias to Action.&quot; You prefer a shipped feature over a perfect slide deck.</li><li>
Customer Obsession: You are comfortable jumping into Discord or hopping on calls with power users to turn messy feedback into actionable insights.</li><li>
Communication: Direct, candid, and persuasive. You align stakeholders without creating friction.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
