<div>We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Manager (RN) to lead day-to-day OR operations with a focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and efficient use of resources. This role provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for operating room services while fostering a collaborative, team-based environment. The OR Manager is accountable for quality of care, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and staff development across the surgical department.

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Manage, direct, and supervise all operating room services and patient care activities</li><li>
Ensure adherence to surgical schedules, policies, procedures, and standards of care</li><li>
Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies</li><li>
Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development</li><li>
Verify employee credentials and maintain required licensure and certifications</li><li>
Define and maintain standards of nursing practice in the operating room</li><li>
Serve as a patient advocate and safety monitor during surgical procedures</li><li>
Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and other departments to enhance patient care and staff development</li><li>
Plan, develop, and manage the OR budget; monitor cost-effectiveness and resource utilization</li><li>
Ensure proper function, maintenance, and cost-conscious use of equipment and supplies</li><li>
Initiate and maintain policies and procedures governing nursing and OR services</li><li>
Foster a positive, efficient work environment and resolve issues promptly and professionally</li><li>
Represent the center in meetings, committees, and professional nursing organizations</li><li>
Support quality improvement initiatives and research efforts that enhance nursing practice</li><li>
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to Universal Precautions</li><li>
Maintain regular, predictable on-site attendance</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred</li><li>
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment</li><li>
Five (5) years of operating room nursing experience</li><li>
Two (2) years of clinical supervisory experience in a surgical setting</li><li>
BLS and ACLS certification required</li><li>
CNOR certification, preferred</li><li>
PALS certification, preferred</li></ul>
