The School Cricket Ground &amp; Campus Grounds Manager is responsible for maintaining the cricket ground, football ground, play areas, and surrounding greenery across the school campus. Cricket Curator / Ground Maintenance

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Assurance &amp; Control<ul><li>Conduct daily physical inspections at all active sites to evaluate the execution quality of civil works, including RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, tiling, electrical, plumbing, and external development.</li><li>Verify that all materials used on site&mdash;cement, steel, aggregates, bricks, tiles, plumbing and electrical fittings&mdash;are as per approved samples, specifications, and IS codes.</li><li>Identify defects in construction work, highlight workmanship issues, and ensure rectification by contractors before project timelines are affected.</li><li>Conduct on-site quality tests for key construction materials such as:</li><li>Concrete cube tests (for strength)</li><li>Sieve analysis for aggregates</li><li>Rebound hammer test for surface hardness</li><li>Slump tests for concrete consistency</li><li>Review safety measures at the site to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.</li><li>Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all quality benchmarks are met before clearing any site phase for continuation.</li></ul>2. Workmanship Monitoring &amp; Standards Compliance<ul><li>Ensure that all civil works are executed strictly as per latest approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.</li><li>Supervise the day-to-day construction activities to ensure use of correct construction techniques&mdash;formwork, bar bending, concreting, curing, waterproofing, tiling, finishing, etc.</li><li>Approve only those works that are completed in line with the design specifications and ensure all corrections are tracked and documented.</li><li>Continuously assess contractor performance on-site and raise alerts if work quality or pace drops below acceptable standards.</li><li>Validate as-built submissions received from Civil Site Engineers and confirm alignment with executed works.</li></ul>3. Quantity Estimation, Verification &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Assist in preparing quantity take-offs for materials such as steel (TMT bars by dia and length), cement (by bag), concrete (by volume), bricks, tiles, plumbing pipes, and electrical wiring.</li><li>Compare estimated vs. actual material consumption and highlight any unusual variances.</li><li>Track daily usage of materials, monitor wastage, and recommend measures to control excessive consumption.</li><li>Cross-check material reports submitted by contractors and vendors against actual site conditions and validate all material entries.</li><li>Maintain registers and digital logs of all material indenting, receipt, storage, and usage.</li><li>Support the Project Manager in preparing rate estimations, rate analysis, and work schedule-based projections.</li></ul>4. Stock &amp; Procurement Coordination<ul><li>Monitor stock levels of key construction materials (cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks, etc.) at each site and ensure sufficient buffer stock is available to prevent interruptions.</li><li>Coordinate with the procurement team to place timely orders based on site requirements and consumption patterns.</li><li>Conduct physical inspection of all incoming materials and approve their usage only after confirming quality and quantity.</li><li>Ensure all materials are stored properly&mdash;under shade, on pallets, moisture-protected, and segregated by type and batch for traceability.</li><li>Flag any issues related to material rejection, delays, or vendor disputes to the Project Manager immediately.</li></ul>5. Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain phase-wise quality checklists for each civil activity, from excavation to finishing.</li><li>Log defects, delays, and non-compliance incidents along with photographic evidence.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date registers and software logs (Excel or custom tools) for:</li><li>Daily stock movement</li><li>Material consumption</li><li>Material received and used</li><li>Contractor billing and invoice validation</li><li>Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager with clear data on material usage, stock status, quality issues, rectifications, and recommendations.</li><li>Participate in the daily technical meeting at 5:30 PM with the Project Manager and Civil Site Engineers to:</li><li>Review completed activities</li><li>Discuss quality issues</li><li>Plan corrective actions</li><li>Schedule material procurement</li><li>Job Requirements</li><li>Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;6 years of site-level experience in quality assurance and quantity estimation.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of IS codes, construction materials, and standard QA/QC protocols.</li><li>Experience in preparing and verifying BOQs, contractor invoices, and rate analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other construction documentation tools.</li><li>Good communication skills to coordinate across departments, vendors, and contractors.</li><li>Ability to work independently, take accountability, and deliver results under pressure.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;45,000.00 - &#8377;60,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Kukatpally, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Diploma (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Site-level in quality assurance and quantity estimation.: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
