<div></div><div>The Vigo County Prosecutor&rsquo;s Office is seeking a full-time deputy prosecuting attorney to join our team. This deputy prosecutors will primarily be responsible for handling a case load in a criminal court such as a major felony court or a domestic violence court and/or working in a specialty area such as with our Drug Task Force. Specific prosecutorial assignments remain subject to change, with decisions made based on office needs and giving consideration to the applicant&rsquo;s experience and qualifications. This position is open immediately.</div>
<div></div><div>Job Qualifications:</div>
<div></div> <div>Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and a license to practice law in the State of Indiana.</div>
 <div>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</div>
 <div>Ability to work both independently and as a team player.</div>
 <div>Proficient computer skills. Microsoft Office and INPCMS experience preferred.</div>
 <div>3+ years of practice with criminal law experience preferred but not required.</div>
 <div>Jury trial experience preferred.</div>
<div></div><div>Salary is based on assignment of responsibilities and personal legal experience. The annual salary range for the position is $80,000 to $88,000 based on experience and assigned responsiblities. This is a full-time position with county benefits.</div>
