Job Description: Senior Site EngineerLocation: Mumbai, MaharashtraPosition: Full-timeWe are a leading real estate development firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Project Execution: Supervise and manage all day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring work proceeds according to the project plan and schedule.</li><li>Quality Control: Implement and enforce stringent quality control procedures. Conduct regular inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.</li><li>Quantity Survey &amp; Estimation: Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, estimate material requirements, and manage on-site inventory to prevent wastage and shortages.</li><li>Contractor Management &amp; Billing: Oversee the work of subcontractors, verify measurements of completed work, and certify contractor bills for timely payment processing.</li><li>Technical Coordination: Interpret construction drawings and specifications, resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site, and coordinate with architects, consultants, and the project management team.</li><li>Reporting: Maintain detailed site records, including daily progress reports, safety logs, and material reconciliation reports.</li><li>Software Proficiency: Utilize the latest version of AutoCAD to review drawings, make necessary on-site modifications, and ensure accurate execution.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. - Civil) from a reputed and recognized university is mandatory.</li><li>Experience:</li><li>A minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on experience in site engineering and construction management.</li><li>OR</li><li>Proven experience in the successful completion of at least three end-to-end residential housing projects in the Mumbai region.</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>In-depth experience in Quality Control (QC) and implementing quality assurance plans.</li><li>Proficiency in Quantity Survey (QS), estimation, and material management.</li><li>Demonstrable experience in contractor bill checking and certification.</li><li>Must have a strong working knowledge of the latest version of AutoCAD.</li><li>Attributes: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
