Location: Duluth, MN
Job type: Full Time
License: Class D or higher License required
Vehicle Type: Box truck, straight turck or cargo van
Schedule: 4am start, Monday - Friday
Hourly pay: $21.00 - $26.00/hr (pay increases with delivery driving experience)<ul><li>Compensation for this position includes hourly pay, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.</li></ul>

What You&rsquo;ll Do
As a driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your delivery vehicle, followed by loading materials and packages to prepare for the day ahead. You will make local deliveries, contacting customers upon arrival and assisting them with unloading. As the face of our company, you&rsquo;ll build strong relationships with customers who rely on your service and support.
You will&hellip;<ul><li>
Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route</li><li>
Transport and deliver products to customers with care</li><li>
Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries</li><li>
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations</li><li>
Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers</li></ul>
What You Bring
Requirements:<ul><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license - Class D or higher</li><li>
Be at least 21 years old</li><li>
Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles</li><li>
Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds</li><li>
Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical with our physician network.</li><li>
Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)</li><li>
Basic English communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>
Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)</li><li>
Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future</li></ul>
Preferred, but not required:<ul><li>
1 year of related experience and/or training</li></ul>

Account Representative

Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime hours
Hourly pay: $25.00 - $37.00/hr<ul><li>Total Compensation for this position includes hourly salary, commissions, annual bonus opportunity, and full benefits package offerings. What You&rsquo;ll Do
As an Account Representative, you&rsquo;ll be a business partner for the assigned account package by collaborating with Key Account Manager or Field Account Manager. Account Representatives are to grow volume and profitability of account package by promoting the value of Viking Electric's products and service offerings.
On a typical day, you will:<ul><li>
Prepare and proactively follow up on quotes and sales opportunities to secure orders, negotiate job pricing with vendors to close opportunities, and source products in an efficient manner.</li><li>
Proactively solicit new business from assigned accounts, maintain a thorough knowledge of, and actively promote, Viking Electric&rsquo;s services, solutions, and product offerings particularly with digital solutions.</li><li>
Serve as a business partner with the Field Account Manager and/or Key Account Managers to develop and execute growth strategies for assigned accounts.</li><li>
Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives to process customer orders accurately and efficiently, share customer information/preferences for consistent customer service, and delegate when possible.</li><li>
Support the efforts of other sales associates to create a cooperative team approach to customer service.</li><li>
Maximize sales and profitability by understanding the marketplace and competition. Assist with pricing strategy and make price rule modifications as needed.</li><li>
Maintain an electronic file system for all customer-related information and past conversations (quotations, special pricing, purchase orders, product information, etc.) to quickly recall the relevant details needed to close order.</li></ul> 
What You Bring
Requirements:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new technology.</li><li>
Attention to detail with developed organizational skills.</li><li>
Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training</li><li>
Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future</li></ul>
Preferred, but not required:<ul><li>
Minimum 1 year at the Counter Sales or equivalent experience with electrical products is preferred</li></ul>
