Full-timeWe are seeking an energetic Interior Designer to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for design and specification of products, for high end residential construction projects including both new construction and renovations.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Work closely with the Principal Designer and other staff on project design, material and finish selections, project documentation and management.</li></ul><ul><li>Work with design team to establish the interior design project concepts.</li></ul><ul><li>Guide and execute Interior Design projects through all phases of design.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with the Principal Designer in establishing schedule of production effort, design reviews, presentation meetings, and/or periodic progress checks as dictated by the nature and scope of the project.</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare 3D concept perspectives, interior elevations, details, finish and furniture plans/specifications in AutoCAD.</li></ul><ul><li>Produce all necessary interiors-related construction documents to a high level of accuracy and detail.</li></ul><ul><li>Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, contractors and sub-contractor</li></ul><ul><li>Accompany client to selections meetings in showrooms, format + distribute notes to vendors, then check bids for accuracy before sharing with the client and/or project team members.</li></ul><ul><li>Meet with builder and/or sub-contractors on-site to ensure proper implementation of design intent.</li></ul><ul><li>Communication with clients to present options, pricing, design ideas, and update them on the progress of their project.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with architects, builders, and subcontractors to ensure all team members are working from the latest documents and information.</li></ul><ul><li>Track billable time and enter invoicing software at the end of each day.</li></ul><ul><li>Potential growth into Senior Interior Designer</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>BA in Interior Design or similar design degree.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with AutoCAD (expectation is that candidate will be able to produce construction drawings in AutoCAD with little to no additional training).</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in Revit</li></ul><ul><li>Proficient in photoshop</li></ul><ul><li>Microsoft Office proficiency.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong design and graphic presentation skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent written, oral and organizational skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to collaborate with others in a deadline driven environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Technical proficiency in building interior construction, techniques and materials.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of building and life safety codes.</li></ul>Job is full-time with benefits (health insurance, PTO and paid holidays).
