Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including small engines, lawnmowers, generators, and other outdoor machinery. Your expertise will ensure that equipment operates efficiently and reliably for our customers. If you&rsquo;re dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment &mdash; we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.Duties<ul><li>Diagnose issues on small engines, including carburetors, ignition systems, fuel systems, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals</li><li>Perform repairs and maintenance on outdoor power equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators</li><li>Conduct diesel engine repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs accurately and safely</li><li>Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to identify problem areas and execute repairs efficiently</li><li>Test repaired equipment for proper operation before returning it to the customer or inventory</li><li>Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair status clearly to team members and customers</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven dealership experience or service technician background in outdoor power equipment or similar fields</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge of small engines, diesel engines, automotive repair, and equipment repair</li><li>Experience reading schematics and electrical diagrams with confidence</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, soldering, and electrical troubleshooting</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For✔ A dependable and motivated individual ✔ Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship ✔ A team-oriented mindset ✔ A positive, can-do attitude ✔ Flexibility and willingness to adapt to business needsJoin our team to bring your mechanical expertise to life!
