As a Principal Product Designer, you will lead the Enterprise solutions design and work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, team stakeholders, and other designers. You'll have a direct impact on Vimeo's business through design ownership of the enterprise experiences that are available to Vimeo customers on desktop and mobile web, such as organization, content, and privacy management, analytics, integrations, and more. We have a big vision to make the power of video accessible to everyone, and we need motivated, passionate team members to help us get there.</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you'll do:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Deepen your expertise in a specialized area, lead projects, and contribute to strategy.</li>
<li>Deliver simple, intuitive, and elegant designs that incorporate Vimeo's brand guidelines while balancing multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Drive design and vision from the concept phase all the way to product release and beyond by crafting high level user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.</li>
<li>Deliver best-in-class user-experiences worthy of the amazing content that is uploaded to Vimeo each and every day.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively to directly engage with users and translate quantitative data and qualitative insights into informed design decisions and new product concepts.</li>
<li>Based on product learnings, clearly communicate your ideas, concepts, and &quot;aha!&quot; moments to guide the team in developing new features and improving our product across all platforms.</li>
<li>Collaborate with global Product, Engineering, and Design teams across different time zones.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills and knowledge you should possess:</b></h4>
<ul><li>7+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a global SaaS tech company environment.</li>
<li>An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience. Show your work and process, not just final designs &ndash; and illustrate how it affected the user's experience. Beautiful work is important, but the thinking behind it is even more so.</li>
<li>Excellent user-centered design skills - you love the details and have a deep understanding of design fundamentals with a proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills - you can clearly articulate your design vision through verbal and written explanation, sketching, or quick mock-ups to small or large groups, from designers to the leadership team.</li>
<li>Ability to be autonomous - you take initiative and end-to-end ownership of complex projects while collaborating with cross-functional partners and other designers, by seeking and giving feedback with a positive sense of curiosity and encouragement!</li>
<li>Strong familiarity with industry-standard UX practices and methods.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):</b></h4>
<ul><li>Experience working with remote or distributed product teams.</li>
<li>UX and site experience across mobile and desktop.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with motion design and animation.</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>Base Salary Range:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li><b><i>NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, &amp; Los Angeles: $158,000 - $216,500</i></b></li>
<li><b><i>All other US cities outside above metro areas: $142,200 - $194,850</i></b></li>
</ul>
