Job Title: Purchase &amp; Inventory Assistant &ndash; CowCare (Vishal Agro Group)Location: Magudanchavadi, Salem District, Tamil Nadu Reporting To: Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-time (factory-based)Role PurposeTo support the Purchase&ndash;Inventory&ndash;Admin function by handling vendor follow-ups, goods inward/outward, stock checking, and production reporting activities. The role ensures uninterrupted operational flow and data accuracy during and after the maternity leave of the current executive.Key Responsibilities1. Purchase Coordination<ul><li>Collect quotations, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and consumables.</li><li>Prepare basic purchase comparison sheets for OPM approval.</li><li>Coordinate with drivers and vendors for material pickup and delivery confirmation.</li><li>Verify bills and submit to Finance for payment processing.</li><li>Compensation</li><li>&#8377;10,000 &ndash; &#8377;15,000 per month (based on experience)</li><li>Allowances for local travel / phone</li><li>Performance-linked incentive for accuracy and timeliness of reporting</li></ul>2. Inventory &amp; Stock Control<ul><li>Supervise goods receiving process &mdash; quantity, weight, and quality verification.</li><li>Update inward and outward registers accurately on the same day.</li><li>Monitor daily stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.</li><li>Assist in monthly stock audits and reconciliation.</li></ul>3. Production &amp; Admin Support<ul><li>Collect production data from the supervisor and record daily output reports.</li><li>Maintain issue slips for raw materials issued to production.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales Admin for dispatch and finished goods handover.</li><li>Handle basic admin activities: petty cash, utility payments, filing, courier handling.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma / Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, or related field.</li><li>2&ndash;4 years&rsquo; experience in purchase or store operations (factory or feed/FMCG preferred).</li><li>Basic computer knowledge (Excel mandatory; ERP familiarity an advantage).</li><li>Ability to communicate in Tamil (and basic Hindi understanding helpful and will be considered as advantage).</li><li>Physically fit, organized, and responsible with documentation.</li><li>Two-wheeler with valid license for vendor coordination.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;10,000.00 - &#8377;15,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Salem, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
