Job Description:
Operations Manager assists in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including, but not limited to, hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and responding to guests&rsquo; inquiries and concerns. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our &ldquo;ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.&rdquo; philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.

<ul><li>Complete all required brand specific training
</li><li>Complete all required Vision University training
</li><li>Complete all required health and safety training
</li><li>Adhere to all Vision Hospitality Group and property specific brand standards
</li><li>Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests
</li><li>Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate
</li><li>Balance the day&rsquo;s business in an accurate and orderly and timely fashion
</li><li>Verify accuracy of cashier&rsquo;s deposits and prepares a daily bank deposit
</li><li>Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
</li><li>Is responsible for personnel reports and files
</li><li>Ensure proper &ldquo;new hire&rdquo; procedures are followed as directed by Vision Hospitality Group, Inc.
</li><li>Verify accuracy of cash on hand, including safe and petty cash. Log any discrepancies on a daily basis
</li><li>Has knowledge of M3 accounting system
</li><li>Prepare &ldquo;daily reports&rdquo; and transmit them to Vision Hospitality Group via accounting systems
</li><li>Maintain Accounts Receivable
</li><li>Prepare all Accounts Payable for payment by home office using accounting system on a weekly basis
</li><li>Prepare payroll bi-weekly and transmit to corporate office
</li><li>Distribute paychecks to associates
</li><li>Have complete knowledge of all hotel systems including phone PBX system, key system, PMS systems
</li><li>Prepares all necessary month-end statistical reports as needed by Vision Hospitality Group</li>
</ul>
Necessary Skills:
<ul><li>Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.
</li><li>Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates and hotel assets
</li><li>Have knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
</li><li>Have dependable transportation available
</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person
</li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule. We are a 24/7 business which may require work availability of nights, weekends, and holidays
</li><li>Is organized, honest, work well with others, and have an outgoing personality
</li><li>Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person
</li><li>Has the highest degree of integrity and is humble, living by the Golden Rule
</li><li>Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
</li><li>Values of dedication, innovation, showing respect, being driven by excellence, being community-focused, and having a spirit of service.
</li><li>Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds
</li><li>Can stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment
</li><li>Must have eyesight enabling vision both near and far
</li><li>Must be comfortable using a step stool or ladder
</li><li>Must be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours
</li><li>Must be able to handle heat and stress
</li><li>Have finger dexterity for operating equipment
</li><li>Must speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, understand English, and be able to write.</li>
