<div>As Director of Corporate AV Sales, you are responsible for driving all aspects of the selling process including, but not limited to, new business development; attainment of revenue and gross profit goals, and participation in the planning and execution of a defined growth strategy for assigned regions. As Director, you will mentor and support Account Managers by scheduling performance meetings providing specific and constructive performance feedback and support in their techniques (prospecting, marketing, presentations, etc.). This role will also educate Account Managers with presentation of strategies and regular meetings, and ensure they have a sound process for pre-sales activities including call planning and preparation. Previous experience in technology sales (preferably A/V) is required.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee the Corporate Sales activity on a daily basis</li>
<li>Setting guidelines for prospecting, meetings, reporting, etc.</li>
<li>Accompany the Account Managers on calls and provide coaching and guidance</li>
<li>Supporting trade shows that the company exhibits at or is involved in</li>
<li>Attending training for certifications, as necessary, such as Avixa and manufacturers trainings</li>
<li>Ensure integrated efforts and provide feedback and direction to staff regarding strategic planning, goals and objectives for overall company performance, individual performance, employee retention and acquisition</li>
<li>Be responsible for administration and distribution of timely sales reports and projections as required</li>
<li>Communicate sales issues to other members of the management team.</li>
<li>Be responsible for determination staff development and training and work with management to regularly evaluate the development progress</li>
<li>Be responsible for the development and implementation of a sales plan. This plan should include market research, sales projections, territory or vertical market assignments, key and targeted account identification and new and existing customer development program</li>
<li>Create a procedure for submitting high quality proposals to customers</li>
<li>Ensure that all evaluations of the sales staff are done according to policy</li>
<li>Attend job meetings as required to speak on behalf of the company as conditions may require. Determine the point at which the sales staff should require your involvement with the customer</li></ul></div>

Job Overview:
Visual Sound is seeking an experienced Corporate A/V Account Manager in our Live Events division to join our Broomall, PA office. This role involves heavy prospecting, contacting potential customers, meeting with clients, preparing sales proposals, and securing contracts in the Mid-Atlantic region to support our Production and Staging operations. Additionally, this person will contribute to the growth of our Live Events division by acquiring venues through preferred and exclusive contracts. These venues may include hotels, special event spaces, and educational facilities. The ideal candidate would possess a background in A/V or technology sales. While candidates from the hospitality industry are encouraged to apply, please be aware that this is not an event planning position.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for servicing existing client base while generating new business to expand current customer base</li>
<li>Provides accurate and timely submittal of sales orders and job notes to appropriate order processing and technical staff</li>
<li>Maintain a healthy pipeline at all times that ensures achievement of established revenue targets</li>
<li>Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience</li>
<li>Attend industry functions including tradeshows, networking events and forums</li>
</ul>
Revenue Generation:
<ul><li>Meet and/or exceed all company sales goals and objectives as it relates to this position</li>
<li>Understand event cost structure and incorporate this according to established profitability guidelines</li>
<li>Identify and secure exclusive and preferred status agreements with venues, working with senior management through the sales and contracting phase</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>The Senior Account Manager shall possess extensive experience in B2B sales with an emphasis on the hospitality industry, hotel sales, marketing and is comfortable selling live event audiovisual technology. This candidate must have a competitive spirit with a hunter-mentality that can open doors.</li>
</ul>
Travel:
<ul><li>It is expected that this position will require a moderate to considerable amount of travel to customer and vendor sites. Minimal overnight travel will be required with the possible exception of manufacturer sales meetings, out-of-town training, industry functions and event support.</li></ul></div>
