Purchasing SpecialistJob Summary As a Procurement Specialist, you&rsquo;ll play a pivotal role in our supply chain by managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely procurement of critical components and finished goods. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory Control, Operations, and Finance teams to support product availability, cost control, and compliance.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Research, evaluate, and identify potential suppliers and select the best options based on company objectives.</li><li>Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, deliveries, or quality issues in a timely manner.</li><li>Partner with QA and Regulatory teams to ensure supplier compliance with FDA, ISO13485, and other relevant standards.</li><li>Follow up on open purchase orders and assist with expediting as needed.</li><li>Prepare COGS analysis and KPIs for internal review and audits.</li></ul>Skills <ul><li>Strong organizational, negotiation, analytical and communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of FDA or ISO quality standards</li><li>Understanding of procurement processes and vendor coordination</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data, problem identification, resolution and the ability to generate clear-concise reports indicating key issues to management</li><li>Effective time management and ability to work independently</li></ul>Education and Experience&middot; Associate/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred&middot; 2 + years of purchasing or procurement experience&middot; ERP / MRP systems Planning and Purchasing experience required (SAGE 100 preferred)&middot; Demand forecasting experience required&middot; Microsoft Excel (create formulas, use pivot tables, etc.), Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordCompensationFull-time employees are eligible for the following compensation:&middot; Competitive Compensation&middot; Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Benefits&middot; Life Insurance&middot; Paid parental leave&middot; 401k with company match&middot; PTO days&middot; Paid HolidaysJob Type: Full-timePay: $51,000.00 - $56,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
