Job Overview: Purchase ExecutiveThe Purchase Executive in the Cosmetics Division of a pharmaceutical company is responsible for the timely procurement of raw materials, packaging items, and other consumables required for cosmetic product manufacturing. The role ensures sourcing from approved vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and aligning with production schedules while adhering to regulatory and quality compliance standards.Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Identify and source raw materials, active ingredients, fragrances, and packaging items for cosmetics.</li><li>Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) in line with production and inventory needs.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors for price negotiations, lead times, and quality compliance.</li><li>Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery time, and cost.</li><li>Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelines (GMP, FDA, etc.).</li><li>Maintain records and documentation for audits and quality checks.</li><li>Collaborate with the QA/QC department to ensure the receipt of materials as per specifications.</li><li>Track and maintain optimum inventory levels and update the marg/Inventory Management System.</li><li>Coordinate logistics and follow up for on-time delivery of materials.</li><li>Support in vendor development and alternative sourcing strategies.</li><li>Assist in cost-saving initiatives and price benchmarking.</li></ul>Educational Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, or related field.</li><li>Preferred: Diploma or certification in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement.</li><li>Advantageous: Postgraduate Degree (MBA in Supply Chain or Operations).</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong understanding of procurement processes in the cosmetics/pharma industry.</li><li>Knowledge of raw materials used in cosmetics (e.g., emulsifiers, fragrances, preservatives).</li><li>Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and cosmetic regulatory requirements.</li><li>Negotiation and vendor management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Marg).</li><li>Strong analytical and documentation skills.</li><li>Time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset and cost-conscious approach.</li></ul>Language: English, Hindi and Marathi (Hindi is Mandatory, Kannada is Mandatory)Salary Range:&#8377;18,000 &ndash; &#8377;20,000 per month (depending on qualification and interview)Location:Site No 74-75, No .194, Hosur Rd, behind Metro wholesale, Konappana Agrahara, Electronic City, Beratena Agrahara, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560100HR mail: hr@invisionpharma.com Phone no. 9740126668Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;18,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
