WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO 
 
As a VITAS Representative, you&rsquo;ll be at the front line of change&mdash;educating physicians, healthcare leaders &amp; professionals about the value of hospice care. You&rsquo;ll:
<ul>
<li>Build trusted relationships with physician, healthcare leaders &amp; professionals</li>
<li>Confidently guide referral sources through understanding the prognostication, the value proposition of hospice &amp; how to have effective conversations for families facing serious illness</li>
<li>Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit</li>
<li>Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time</li>
<li>This is a role for someone who&rsquo;s ready to grow, eager to learn, and driven to serve.</li>

WHERE YOU&rsquo;LL WORK 
 
You&rsquo;ll be based out of a local VITAS office and actively engaging across your territory. Whether it&rsquo;s a physician's office, hospital, or care facility&mdash;you&rsquo;ll go where the need is, always focused on making meaningful connections.

QUALIFICATIONS 
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services preferred</li>
<li>Participated in competitive team environment that involved individual accountably and teamwork</li>
<li>Able to demonstrate examples on critical thinking and created solutions</li>
<li>Past military service a plus</li>
<li>Experience with volunteer organization a plus</li>
<li>Hospice experience preferred but, not required</li>
<li>Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or demonstrates track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals</li>
<li>Strong customer service, sense of urgency and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Time Management and Organizational Skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need satisfaction selling process</li>
<li>Ability to manage a territory, to conduct sales calls and to generate sales by building long term business partnerships</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization</li></ul> 
 
EDUCATION
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li>
<li>Other acceptable licenses include RN, LPN/LVN, or Social Work (SW)</li>
