The Role
The primary responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer is to support the QA Department&rsquo;s mission to verify compliance with requirements and to facilitate company-wide improvements. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Develop and grow multi-level relationships with customers, suppliers, auditors, and other interested parties.</li><li>
Ensure supplier selection and control processes within QA are followed and documented; develop and implement improvements.</li><li>
Facilitate company-wide process definition, measurement, and improvements.</li><li>
Accountable for communication and collaboration to facilitate company-wide process improvement.</li><li>
Accountable for development and execution of key process improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Lead supplier audits to document CMi supplier compliance with internal and external requirements; provide internal CMi customers with risk assessments and mitigation plans based on audit results.</li><li>
Lead internal audits to document CMi compliance with internal and external requirements; support external audits to verify compliance.</li><li>
Lead Corrective and Preventive Action process to drive high-impact process improvements related to suppliers.</li><li>
Lead Nonconformance process to ensure efficient control and disposition of nonconforming outputs, focused on supplier nonconformances.</li><li>
Measure and report key schedule, delivery, and cost metrics for the Processes above.</li><li>
Measure and report performance of the QA department in a way that meets all requirements and needs of internal and external customers.</li><li>
Measure and report on effectiveness of key improvement processes.</li><li>
Support and report internal and external schedule/delivery compliance.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul> 
Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in related field.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree may be substituted with four years of directly related experience</li><li>
Minimum 1 years&rsquo; experience in a related role.</li><li>
Proficiency preferred in industry quality standards, such as: AS9100, AS9001:2015, and NADCAP</li><li>
Basic proficiency required in ASME Y14.5 (GD&amp;T) and drawing interpretation</li><li>
Proficiency required in internal and/or external audit to international standards</li><li>
Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR regulations</li><li>
Ability to pass a drug screen per Vitesse&rsquo;s drug testing policy</li><li>
Ability to pass a criminal background check per Vitesse&rsquo;s policy</li></ul>
