Sales Support Representative
We are seeking a qualified Sales Support Representative to join our team in our Harmar, PA location, just outside of Pittsburgh PA. The Sales Support Representative is accountable to provide an exceptional level of customer service to assigned customer accounts (domestic and/or export) while working closely with sales to ensure that sales and profitability objectives are met.

Responsibilities
<ul><li>Perform all aspects of order processing, applying specialized knowledge of technical details and product applications in the customer order process.
</li><li>Maintain ongoing relationships with key customers in both the East and West regions via phone and email, assuring thorough and accurate order processing, suggesting alternative products and services if needed, and providing support in the resolution of customer complaints and issues.
</li><li>Provide customers with timely and accurate information with respect to our product availability, shipping capabilities, and the status of orders from time of order receipt through order shipment, delivery, and payment of invoices.
</li><li>Interact with sales, credit, supply chain, manufacturing, technical service, and transportation to resolve issues to achieve an optimal customer experience.
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred and/or customer service experience (3+ years of relevant experience)
</li></ul>Work Environment
The incumbent will work in an open office environment as a member of a team of customer service representatives supporting both domestic and export customers. The position involves a great deal of telephone and e-mail contact with customers and internal Vitro contacts (e.g. sales, manufacturing plants, production planning, and transportation).
Functional and Technical Skills:
Requires strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, prioritization, problem solving, conflict resolution, and suggestive selling skills
<ul><li>A strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office products is required
</li><li>Experience with Glass systems is preferred
</li><li>Demonstrated strong sense of urgency when needed
</li><li>Ability to follow tasks through to completion
</li><li>Critical thinking, along with the ability to analyze data and respond to situations effectively
</li><li>Knowledge of float glass helpful, but not required
