Objective<ul><li>Responsible for repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production machinery, equipment, and the facility structure to ensure safe and efficient operation.</li><li>The primary goal is to minimize production delays by implementing effective preventive maintenance programs and responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.</li></ul>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Troubleshooting and Repair:</li><li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment malfunctions.</li><li>Perform immediate and effective repairs on production equipment, often involving dismantling and reassembling machinery.</li><li>Work with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled equipment and control systems where applicable.</li><li>Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM):</li><li>Execute planned preventive maintenance inspections and procedures (e.g., lubrication, cleaning, filter changes) to maintain optimal equipment performance.</li><li>Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine checks to identify potential issues before they cause downtime.</li><li>Installation and Modification:</li><li>Install, set up, and commission new production machinery and equipment.</li><li>Perform modifications and upgrades to existing equipment to improve efficiency and reliability.</li><li>Facility Maintenance:</li><li>Perform general facility maintenance tasks, which may include light carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system checks.</li><li>Maintain building and ground support systems (e.g., air compressors, conveyors, utilities).</li><li>Documentation and Reporting:</li><li>Complete work orders promptly and accurately, documenting all repairs, maintenance actions, time spent, and parts used, often utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).</li><li>Generate reports on equipment failures, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.</li><li>Safety and Compliance:</li><li>Promote a safety culture and ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards.</li><li>Collaboration:</li><li>Work closely with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize impact on production schedules.</li><li>Communicate clearly with management and team members regarding the status of repairs and potential operational effects.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field is often preferred.</li><li>Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of industrial machinery.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Skilled in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance and repair.</li><li>Welding, fabrication, and pipefitting skills are often beneficial.</li><li>Basic computer skills for documentation and using CMMS software.</li><li>Soft Skills:</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities (Root Cause Analysis).</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing work orders.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality of work.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 12 monthsPay: From &#8377;18,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
