<div><p>What is the job ?</p><p>
The position is accountable for soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Conducts day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. To analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.</p><p>
Your day to day
</p><ul><li>Identify and develop potential clients in specified offline segments and incorporate into Sales Pipelines
</li><li>Acquire thorough knowledge of respective accounts and their hospitality needs
</li><li>Promote all the hotel&rsquo;s products and services
</li><li>Conduct regular / daily sales visits identifying new accounts
</li><li>Understand client requirements and ensure that the products and services offered correspond effectively to their request</li><li>Provide after-sales service recovery and ensure that all clients&rsquo; feedback are taken seriously and escalated to relevant top management if necessary
</li><li>Meet and exceed given Top-line revenue objectives
</li><li>Achieve set revenue targets for respective segments
</li><li>Ensure cost effective sales activities are practices at all times
</li><li>Work to increasing hotel profitability implementing yielding strategy whenever is needed
</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely reporting on the market and competition analysis
</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely reporting in sales activities, sales pipelines and all other assigned reports and task
</li><li>Any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by

</p><p></p><div>Minimum of 2-3 years Sales experience in 5* Hotel property preferable in cluster role &middot; Self confident with strong market awareness &middot; Proactive and detailed &middot; Hospitality degree or equivalent &middot; Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills &middot; Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales &middot; Proven ability to creating new business opportunities &middot; Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment &middot; Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment &middot; Valid driver's license is preferred.</div><div>

Cluster Sales Manager

<div><p><b>Your day to day</b></p><ul><li>Maintain an up-to-date awareness of room status to ensure efficient servicing.</li><li>Assign responsibilities to subordinates and monitor their performance and productivity.</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all Housekeeping equipment and schedule necessary preventative maintenance and repair work.</li><li>Oversee assignment of the rooms to the Room Attendants for cleaning.</li><li>Check and release vacant clean rooms for sale.</li><li>Conduct random inspection of service rooms.</li><li>Inspect corridors, back of house areas, stairwells, stores, public areas, pantries, car park and garbage areas for hygiene and cleanliness.</li><li>Note down repairs, linen supplies and out-of-order rooms.</li><li>Ensure a stock take of keys is conducted each shift and missing keys are followed up immediately in line with Hotel Policy and Procedures.</li><li>Ensure that par stock of linen and guest supplies in the pantry areas is maintained in accordance with standards.</li><li>Ensure that the Housekeeping Attendants exercise proper discipline and courtesy in attending to the Guests&rsquo; needs/requests.</li><li>Check and counter-sign all daily reports of the Housekeeping Attendants assigned to him/her and to make sure that their reports are correctly filed by the end of their shift.</li><li>Record activities/problems/complaints and follow-up work as necessary in the Logbook.</li><li>Log and store lost property items and send them to guests when required in accordance with Policy and Procedure.</li><li>Liaise with maintenance on all out of order rooms and follow up until returned to service.</li><li>Promote the health, safety and welfare of employees within hotel.</li><li>Provide information, instruction and supervision to employees, guests, contractors and visitors so that safe working procedures are always followed</li><li>To report for duty punctually, always wearing the correct uniform and name badge.</li></ul><div>
