 Role Purpose
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 To ensure the successful delivery and acceptance of civil infrastructure projects by conducting field inspections,
 </li>
 <li>
 Assessing quality standards, and verifying compliance with contractual requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting network infrastructure readiness, minimizing operational risks, and ensuring that Vodafone&rsquo;s standards are applied in all Vodafone projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare acceptance certificate that identify site status and compliance with payment predefined scenario
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical guidance: Provide expert advice to Engineers and construction teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical documentation: Develop, Maintain accurate records, test reports and acceptance certificates
 </li>
 <li>
 Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and external authorities
 </li>
 <li>
 Testing and Commissioning: Witness testing, verify results and approve handover certificates

 </ul>
 
 Key Accountabilities &amp; Decision Ownership
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Civil Works Inspection and Acceptance: Conduct site visits to inspect civil works, ensuring they meet Vodafone&rsquo;s specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Verify completion of contracted work against scope and documentation for acceptance
 </li>
 <li>
 Compliance Assurance: ensure all civil projects comply with local regulations, health, safety, and environmental policies. Assess materials and workmanship for adherence to technical specifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Snag Identification and Resolution: Identify defects, snags, or incomplete works and document them comprehensively. Collaborate with contractors and Regions to ensure timely rectification
 </li>
 <li>
 Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate acceptance reports, checklists, and certificates. Escalate critical issues and provide recommendations to stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Stakeholder Management: Liaise with supply chain, network engineering, and cost control teams to align on project objectives. Support cross-functional teams to drive on-time project completion
 </li>
 <li>
 Decision Ownership: Approve or reject completed civil works based on inspection outcomes. Recommend remedial actions and enforce adherence to timelines
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Core Competencies, Knowledge, And Experience

 Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and infrastructure requirements in telecom
 </li>
 <li>
 Attention to detail and expertise in identifying quality issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with contractors and stakeholders effectively

 Knowledge:

 In-depth knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and regulations

 Must have technical / professional qualifications:
 
 
 
 Educational Background:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering or related field

Civil Acceptance Tech Sr. Specialist

 Ensure the complete, accurate and timely accounting of all transactions relevant to&nbsp;revenue and direct costs.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Responsible for producing accurate monthly financial statements including the analysis of key income statement lines. Comply with tax laws, relevant accounting principles, ICFR and Group policies.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure timely weekly, monthly and yearly reporting to regulator in accordance with regulator guidelines and in compliance with payment service regulations. Responsible for maintaining supporting documentation for amounts reported to regulator and provide necessary details during their offsite and onsite inspection visits.

 <li>
 
 Execution of all general ledger standard controls and retention of audit evidence of the completed controls.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure appropriate coding structures (General ledger, cost centre and profit centre) that meet reporting and analysis requirements.

 Complete local balance sheet reconciliations (and review those prepared by the SSC) for wallet liabilities, 3 ways match (Initiation to settlement), unsettled liabilities, receivables, deferred, unbilled and unearned revenues and direct costs / OPEX accruals. Ensure supporting documentation is maintained and reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner.

 Ensure a robust control mechanism for each service line and maintain a comprehensive reconciliation framework resulting in accurate accounting, internal reporting and QCB reporting.

 <li>
 
 Act as a primary lead for Preparing and finalizing finance processes mapping to customer journey for each area of service. Lead resolution of system / process issues and advise the respective teams for their proposed resolution.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Manage and identify opportunities for optimization and automation in and participate in projects to improve financial process efficiency and accuracy.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.

 Qualified Accountant with 8+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting and product assessment in FinTech environment.&nbsp;

 Expertise in reporting under IFRS, Knowledge and in-depth understanding of FinTech business and products.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Sound knowledge of internal controls (ICFR, SOX) and ability to articulate complex matters to Senior Management in a simple manner and able to deliver within given timelines.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Chartered Accountant certifications required
