 The Collections Accountant will be providing dynamic support to both the Finance function as well as the wider business, ensuring receivables, revenues, and billing are correctly recognized in accordance with accounting standards and cash collected and reported on time. The Collections Accountant is responsible for ensuring relevant Finance policies are being developed and applied to drive process improvements within the Finance function with regards to Revenue and Receivables processes and accounting.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Process accurate and timely collection of cash from all defined sources of receivables
 </li>
 <li>
 Process proper booking/accounting of all collections vs receivables on time
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure timely reporting of all collections by source and right bank accounts
 </li>
 <li>
 Process Process the required bank reconciliations by sales channel and assigned bank account
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare any required internal reports related to collections controls
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Revenue team in any assigned tasks
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain efficient receivables
 </li>
 <li>
 Work alongside with collection agencies, monitor their performance aging
 </li>
 <li>
 Work alongside the Financial Planning &amp; Analysis team, assisting with inputs into budgets and providing insights into variance to budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all balance sheet accounts maintained by the team are reconciled to the trial balance
 </li>
 <li>
 Take a proactive approach to reporting system and process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in the wider finance function
 </li>

 Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

 Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 0-2 years&rsquo; experience in receivables, collections, and revenue accounting
 </li>

 Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with different stakeholders

 Ability to be flexible in a changing environment and work to strict deadlines

 Proactive attitude with the ability to identify areas for improvement.

 This role has the overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining the strategic and operational capacity of technology supply chains at Vodafone Oman. The primary responsibilities are to deliver investment and spend optimisation and execute cost saving initiatives, whilst ensuring regulatory and internal governance compliance. The key outcomes expected are to deliver substantial and sustainable contributions to company profitability, and to contain commercial risk through contracts.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity for all company assets
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor, control, and audit inventory, implementing strategies like ABC analysis and safety stock
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, fostering continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and asset traceability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate inbound, outbound, and last-mile logistics for retail, e-commerce, and distributors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee reverse logistics and manage faulty returns from suppliers and customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage customs clearance processes and secure TRA (Telecommunications Regulatory Authority) approvals for new shipments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Validate and process logistics, warehouse, and customs partner invoices to ensure financial accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fulfil B2B and wholesale product requests in coordination with the Product Management team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and update ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and utilize automation tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate reports and dashboards to track warehouse performance and inventory accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise on shipping standards, packaging protocols, and end-to-end inventory control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage supplier and transport vendor relationships, negotiating cost-effective deals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with Commercial, Technology, Finance, and Product Management teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead annual physical inventory counts and quarterly cycle counts, performing root-cause analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure stock availability for critical items like SIM cards, MBB CPE and FTTH devices based on forecasts
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure capital spare movement for Vodafone Network requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize distribution routes, logistics workflows, and SLA/KPI performance with partners
 </li>

 Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive accurate conclusions from a large volume of diverse and complex data

 Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the technology / telecoms market, and key vendors and players

 Extensive experience in leading Managing 3PL and Warehouse operations.
