<div><div><b>Job Purpose</b></div> <div>The key job purpose of the role is to have complete monitoring, control, reconciliation, and reporting of the warehouse(s) and their inventories by adhering to the highest levels of warehouse standards in all aspects (i.e. warehousing, housekeeping, safety and security, scrap disposals etc.). A custodian of huge company assets, complex operations and handling of large workforce.</div>

<div><div><b>Key Result Areas/Accountabilities</b></div> <div>Warehousing: the role requires handling of end to end warehouse management of warehouses at the Circle for Network, OPEX, and Marcom etc. the role has to cater to important deliverables by maintaining minimum cost, high efficiency, safety and 100% compliance to HSW. Some of the necessities of the role are:</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Huge Network roll out every month, swap activity, consolidation of Network, huge SRN transactions and scrap disposals.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Maintain strict inventory controls and minimum warehouse residency to ensure high inventory turnover ratio (ITR).</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Handle multiple local transporters (sometimes politically influenced) and local unions to ensure optimum and timely availability of HSW compliant vehicles to ensure network roll out.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Most of the workforce is less educated (low skilled and / or semi-skilled labours), still the position needs to support timely network roll out and efficient tradable supply chain.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Continuous engagement of drivers, labourers through training, team development and motivation.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Often serves beyond call of duty due to business urgencies from user functions.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Warehouse operations for min 6 days a week (and sometimes even on Sundays to meet the business requirement) &ndash; almost 12-14 hours a day.</div>

<div><div>Space management (manage more in less).</div>

<div><div>Ensure appropriate stock to support business growth.</div>

<div><div>Short notice from Sales team to organize SIM kitting and dispatches of tradable (which are the main source of revenue).</div>

<div><div><b>Inventory controls</b>:</div>

<div><div>Responsible for audits and also ensure compliance of related party transaction.</div>

<div><div>Co-ordinate with network and SSC for operation and reconciliation aspects of NSS (Network Stock Solution) module.</div>

<div><div>Manage reporting, compliances and interface for auditors and ensuring any supporting required for audit and any issues are addressed in timely manner.</div>

<div><div>Conduct internal audits to assure VIL processes and standards, pertaining to payments/invoices/Good Receipt Note (GRN)/compliance/HSW etc.</div>

<div><div><b>Logistics</b>:</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Managing the primary logistics in close co-ordination with the category manager in commercial (i.e. movement of materials from vendor factories, import ports to warehouses in the Circle at minimum costs.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Ensuring timely availability of HSW compliant vehicles and drivers to ship network equipment from warehouses to sites and thereafter return of swap/switched off equipment&rsquo;s packed (in good condition) back to warehouse from sites.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Transportation efficiency &ndash; optimize the secondary transportation routes, loads and frequency and thereby reduce the overall transportation spend.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Route planning and monitoring material movement to multiple sites.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Movement of tradable i.e. SIM/RCV/POP to distributors, retailers and other zonal locations through a team of couriers.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Co-ordinate with TPL vendors and validation of their performance and invoices.</div>
</div><br>
<div><div>Driving and implementation of intelligent transport and courier management system (ITCMS) to ensure greater controls, compliances and keep a check and tight control on logistic cost.</div>
