 About This Role
 
 
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced IoT Test Lead Engineer to support Vodafone&rsquo;s strategic growth areas across Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation. This role is suited to an individual who combines strong technical testing expertise with leadership capability, takes ownership with minimal supervision, and thrives in fast‑evolving technology environments. You will play a key role in defining testing strategy, leading delivery across complex programmes, and acting as a trusted partner to stakeholders.
 
 
 
 
 What You Will Do

 Who You Are

 Hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical discipline

 Bring 9+ years of hands‑on technology experience, including 5+ years in Testing and Quality Assurance
 </li>
 <li>
 Have proven experience leading teams of five or more colleagues
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate strong experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess solid knowledge of testing methodologies, including integration and UAT testing
 </li>

 Have good working knowledge of SQL
 </li>

 Hold an ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing

 Are experienced with test management tools such as JIRA and ALM (Quality Center)

 We are seeking an experienced IP Network Design and Test Specialist to develop, validate and standardise IP and SDN network solutions within the Connectivity and Cloud Engineering (CCE) domain. This role focuses on designing and testing IP network features and transformations in a central laboratory environment, driving harmonised configurations, and enabling automation across global networks. The role plays a key part in shaping network strategy through robust testing, standardisation, and close collaboration with engineering, operations, and vendor partners.

 Define standard configuration guidelines derived from laboratory testing to support harmonised deployment across global IP networks

 Design, dimension, and configure cloud‑based laboratory environments to host virtualised transport network applications such as SDN controllers, virtual routers, firewalls, and security platforms

 Lead hardware and software regression testing, with a strong focus on test automation

 About This Role
 
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Middleware Development Team. In this role, you will design and develop software applications and products, provide technical guidance, and coach junior team members. You will work on complex modules, ensure high-quality deliverables, and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement.
 
 
 
 
 What You Will Do
 
 
 
 
 Participate in the design and development of one or more modules.
 
 
 Implement requirements adhering to design documents and quality standards.
 
 
 Investigate and resolve technical issues, recommending suitable tools and technologies.
 
 
 Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members.
 
 
 Review code and offer constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
 
 
 Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
 
 
 Contribute to requirements estimation and project planning.
 
 
 Suggest and implement innovative ideas and software improvements.
 
 
 Maintain flexibility and dedication to meet project timelines and adapt to changes.
 
 
 
 
 Who You Are
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 3&ndash;8 years of experience in Java development
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Microservices, SOA, SOLID principles
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Linux, and shell scripting
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and clean coding practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to AWS development and troubleshooting tools like Splunk
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
