The right candidate will be adept at handling job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, subcontractor invoicing, and project-level financial oversight while upholding meticulous recordkeeping and robust internal controls.

</b></h2><ul><li>Lead day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, job costing, and general ledger oversight
</li><li>Execute timely and accurate month-end and year-end close procedures with complete financial statement preparation
</li><li>Create and uphold internal controls, accounting procedures, and organizational best practices
</li><li>Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and account reconciliation workflows
</li><li>Review and authorize journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting documents
</li><li>Collaborate closely with Project Managers to maintain precise job costing, billing accuracy, and proper documentation
</li><li>Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to boost efficiency and precision
</li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications
</b></h2><ul><li>2&ndash;5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in construction, restoration, or similar project-focused sectors
</li><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or comparable professional experience
</li><li>Solid grasp of job costing principles, WIP reporting, subcontractor billing procedures, and project accounting workflows
</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation)
</li><li>Experience using accounting platforms (Sage 100 Contractor is a plus); knowledge of industry-specific tools like DASH, Xactimate, or Encircle is beneficial
</li><li>Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with proven capacity to juggle competing priorities in dynamic settings
</li><li>Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across all departments
</li><li>Unwavering dedication to accuracy, confidentiality, and deadline adherence
