Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your plumbing career by learning hands-on from experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will earn while you learn, gaining the real-world skills and training needed to advance toward your Journeyman license.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Assist Journeyman and Master Plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, sewers, and water heaters
</li><li>Perform basic plumbing tasks such as pipe cutting, fitting assembly, and fixture installation under direct supervision
</li><li>Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites
</li><li>Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures
</li><li>Support senior plumbers with emergency service calls as needed
</li><li>Complete required classroom or technical training as part of an apprenticeship program
</li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
</li><li>Communicate professionally with customers and team members
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required
</li><li>Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a licensed plumbing apprenticeship program
</li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn the trade
</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
</li><li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
</li><li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors in varying weather conditions
</li><li>Prior construction, maintenance, or trade experience a plus but not required
</li></ul>Compensation
<ul><li>Base salary: $34,000 &ndash; $47,500 per year , depending on experience and location
</li><li>Hourly equivalent: $16 &ndash; $23/hour , with increases as apprenticeship milestones are met
</li><li>Top earners in high-demand markets: up to $56,500+
</li><li>Overtime pay available (1.5x standard rate)
</li><li>Pay increases tied to apprenticeship progression
