We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Secretary to support the General Manager of a leading civil contracting company. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the construction industry and be able to manage administrative tasks, coordinate communications, and support daily operations efficiently.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager</li><li>Manage and organize schedules, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements</li><li>Prepare letters, reports, minutes of meetings, and other official documents</li><li>Maintain confidential records and filing systems</li><li>Coordinate with project teams, site staff, and suppliers when required</li><li>Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally</li><li>Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and project documentation</li><li>Follow up on pending tasks and ensure timely completion</li><li>Manage office communications and ensure smooth workflow</li><li>Support HR and procurement functions when needed</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or relevant diploma</li><li>3&ndash;5 years experience in civil contracting or construction industry (mandatory)</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction terminology and project documentation</li><li>Excellent communication skills (English required; Arabic is an advantage)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism</li><li>Discretion and confidentiality are essential</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of UAE labor procedures and documentation</li><li>Experience coordinating with project managers and site engineers</li><li>Ability to draft professional letters and reports</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
