Duties/Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>Oversees the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System.</li><li>Coordinates and manages external ISO 9001 audits and certifications.</li><li>Investigates and diagnoses internal and external problem root causes and leads the corrective action process.</li><li>Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.</li><li>Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.</li><li>Communicates quality standards and parameters to the production operations team and other appropriate staff.</li><li>Provides quality &amp; manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.</li><li>Assists and performs quality functions as needed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><div><b><br>
Required Skills/Abilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to all levels of Vontas and customers.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database experience.</li><li>Organized with attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li></ul></div><div><b><br>
Education and Experience:</b><br>
<ul><li>Three years of experience with Quality Management Systems.</li><li>ISO 9001 experience preferred.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.</li></ul></div><div><b><br>
Physical Requirements:</b><br>
<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (including domestic and international), sometimes for extended periods, which may involve sitting during transit and walking at various locations.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.</li><li>Must be able to handle high utilization of hand and wrist dexterity.</li></ul></div><div><b><br>
