<div>Position is responsible for preparing and implementing marketing promotional plans for District Sales Meetings, Diagnostic Seminars, Loot, and others. Evaluates promotional performance and makes changes to meet company goals and objectives. Works with Product Management, Sales, and Purchasing Agents on product launches and advises of any relevant concerns. Recommends changes to current promotional plans and procedures based on market research and new trends.
This is a Hybrid Position (Monday/Friday Remote)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Manage all aspects of Matco&rsquo;s promotional strategy</li><li>
Design and implement reporting tools that track key metrics and performance trends and provide actionable insights to marketing leadership</li><li>
Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and models to support promotional decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to): purchase patterns, price elasticity, usage and engagement, and maximizing revenue &amp; margin.</li><li>
Daily use of Vontier Business Systems (VBS) and analysis tools to make mix / margin improvements and improvements across the promotional processes.</li><li>
Maintain accurate pricing for all promotional activities</li><li>
Revenue &amp; margin management to target and review for pricing accuracy</li><li>
Assist with other promotional vehicles including National Flyer, Annual Tool Expo and others</li></ul>
CAREER PROGRESSIONS / PROMOTABLE TO:
In role progression to Senior Analyst within 3 -5 yrs. Other progression opportunities include Product Specialist or Digital Analyst within 2 yrs.
Attribute/Skill/Experience<ul><li>
Bachelors Degree-Marketing, Statistics, Finance or Management preferred</li><li>
1-2 years of experience (in a statistical marketing or analyst role preferred)</li><li>
Strong career ambition</li><li>
Excel skills and strong knowledge of data reporting/mining software (Business Intelligence). AS/400 experience a plus</li><li>
Direct experience analyzing and synthesizing large data sets to deliver results</li><li>

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.

Marketing Promotions Analyst

<div>The Buyer will be a member of the Purchasing Organization and will be paired with a Purchasing Specialist to manage a large list of direct material suppliers. The role will be focused on strategic management of assigned suppliers, with a focus on continuous improvement and execution against key business metrics including inventory turns, customer order fill rates, and purchase price variance (PPV).
**This is a Hybrid Position. M/F are remote work days
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Work with Product Managers and Suppliers to develop strategic promotional plans. Negotiate price discounts in support of promotional plans.</li><li>
Negotiate annual Supplier sales rebate agreements.</li><li>
Manage Supplier performance through conducting Scorecard reviews and developing and implementing action plans for improvement.</li><li>
Other Supplier terms and conditions negotiations as needed.</li><li>
Work closely with Purchasing Specialist to manage assigned products and suppliers.</li><li>
Review and place purchase orders.</li><li>
Set and maintain JD Edwards system item planning parameters (lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stock, etc.).</li></ul>
