Head &ndash; Human Resources (HR Head) for Real Estate &amp; Construction based companyDepartment: Human Resources Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO Location: Madhavaram , ChennaiJob PurposeThe HR Head will lead and manage all human resource functions for corporate office and construction/project sites. The role focuses on strategic HR leadership, statutory compliance, manpower planning, performance management, employee relations, and building a disciplined, performance-driven culture aligned with real estate and construction operations.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic HR Leadership<ul><li>Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business growth, project timelines, and organizational goals</li><li>Act as a strategic advisor to top management on people, culture, and organizational development</li><li>Establish HR governance, policies, and best practices across all locations</li></ul>2. Manpower Planning &amp; Recruitment<ul><li>Prepare annual and project-wise manpower plans</li><li>Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, sales, engineering, planning, QS, billing, site, and support roles</li><li>Manage recruitment agencies, contractors, and internal hiring teams</li><li>Ensure timely mobilization of site manpower</li></ul>3. HR Operations &amp; Employee Lifecycle<ul><li>Oversee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits</li><li>Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, personnel files, and HRMS</li><li>Standardize HR processes across HO and project sites</li></ul>4. Performance Management (KRA &amp; KPI)<ul><li>Design and implement KRA &amp; KPI frameworks for all functions</li><li>Drive performance appraisal cycles and productivity reviews</li><li>Support department heads in performance improvement plans</li></ul>5. Compensation, Payroll &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Design competitive salary structures aligned with industry benchmarks</li><li>Ensure timely payroll processing and statutory deductions</li><li>Manage incentives, commissions, bonuses, insurance, gratuity, and leave policies</li></ul>6. Statutory Compliance &amp; Labour Laws<ul><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws:</li><li>PF, ESI, PT, LWF</li><li>Shops &amp; Establishments Act</li><li>Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act</li><li>Handle inspections, audits, legal notices, and labour authority interactions</li><li>Manage contract labour compliance at project sites</li></ul>7. Employee Relations<ul><li>Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and terminations</li><li>Maintain harmonious industrial relations at sites and corporate offices</li><li>Address union or workforce issues proactively</li></ul>8. Learning &amp; Development<ul><li>Identify training needs for technical, safety, leadership, and behavioral skills</li><li>Drive induction, site safety, compliance, and soft-skills training</li><li>Support leadership development and succession planning</li></ul>9. Culture Building &amp; Employee Engagement<ul><li>Drive employee engagement initiatives and communication programs</li><li>Build a performance-oriented, ethical, and compliance-driven culture</li><li>Support change management and organizational development initiatives</li></ul>10. Policy, SOP &amp; Governance<ul><li>Draft, implement, and periodically update HR policies and SOPs</li><li>Ensure policy communication and adherence across all levels</li><li>Support internal audits, ISO requirements, and corporate governance</li></ul>11.
