The primary objective of this role is to diversify our business portfolio by securing projects in various sectors like the Hospitality Sector (Hotels &amp; Resorts), Institutional Clients, Government Contracts, and by supplying to other Nurseries our tissue-cultured plants with the upcoming tissue culture project. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial strategic thinker with a proven track record in hands-on site management, client negotiation, and navigating complex project environments.Key Responsibilities:.Communication with existing clients for a smooth business and expansion of existing business&middot; Strategic Business Development:&middot; Identify, target, and secure new clients in the defined expansion sectors: Hospitality, Institutions, Government, and Nursery supply chains.&middot; Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve a significant jump in the company's sales turnover.&middot; Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.&middot; Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.&middot; Client &amp; Stakeholder Management:&middot; Lead technical and commercial discussions with architects, project consultants, site authorities, and government officials.&middot; Build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with key decision-makers.&middot; Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.&middot; Project Liaison &amp; Site Management:&middot; Leverage hands-on site management experience to understand project requirements, challenges, and deliver practical solutions.&middot; Coordinate effectively between the client's team (architects, site in-charges) and our internal execution teams (landscape, nursery, lab).&middot; Conduct site visits to present proposals, address queries, and ensure client satisfaction.&middot; Proposal &amp; Presentation:&middot; Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations, tailored to the specific needs of each client segment.&middot; Develop detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and tender documents with precision and clarity.&middot; Utilize strong computer skills to create professional reports, presentations, and project documentation.&middot; Market Intelligence:&middot; Conduct market research to understand competitor activity, pricing trends, and new opportunities in the target sectors.&middot; Provide feedback to the management on market needs to help refine our service offerings.Required Skills and Qualifications:&middot; A bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Forestry.MBA- in marketing and experience in marketing But Hands on Experience as Horticulturist&middot; A minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in business development or project management within the landscape, horticulture, construction, or infrastructure development sector.&middot; Non-negotiable, hands-on experience in site management and a deep understanding of landscape project execution.&middot; A proven track record of successfully negotiating and dealing with architects, corporate site authorities, and government officials.&middot; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.&middot; High proficiency in computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
