   About the Role
   <br/>

  We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our Controller with the day-to-day financial operations of a growing SaaS company. You'll assist with core accounting functions &mdash; from Accounts Payable/Receivable to month-end close &mdash; and help ensure our books remain accurate as we scale.&nbsp;
 </p>
 <p>
  This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean books, thrives on routine, and wants to grow within a finance team at a tech company.

   What You'll Do:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare and post journal entries as needed for period-end closes
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist in preparing supporting schedules for financial statements as needed
  </li>
  <li>
   Support during external audits
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain organized records and supporting documentation
  </li>
  <li>
   Flag process gaps and support the Controller in implementing workflow improvements
  </li>

   What You&rsquo;ll Bring:

   Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance
  </li>
  <li>
   3 - 5 years of accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to SaaS or tech industry
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of GAAP
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in Quickbooks
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in Ramp or other bill pay systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc)
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to support day-to-day tasks
  </li>
  <li>
   Must be tech-savy and comfortable learning new tools and software
  </li>
  <li>
   High attention to detail and data accuracy
  </li>
  <li>
   Must have the ability to manage high transaction volume accurately
  </li>

   Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment

We're looking for a proven Government Sales professional based in the Maryland area to join VulnCheck's fast-growing team. This is a hunter role built for a driven seller who can navigate complex federal buying cycles and thrive in the environment of an early-stage cyber company.</p>
<p>
You'll play a critical role in growing VulnCheck's presence across Defense and Intelligence agencies, with a strong focus on net-new revenue within target agencies focused on Mission-level outcomes.</p>

What You'll Do</b></h4>
<ul><li>Own and grow a named set of agencies, with a focus on net-new revenue and strategic expansion.</li>
<li>Drive new business by qualifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities across DoD, DoE, and IC accounts.</li>
<li>Maintain a strategic pipeline with accurate forecasting in Salesforce. Lead the full sales cycle&mdash;from prospecting and partner collaboration (channel, reseller, and contract vehicles) through negotiation and close.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to tailor solutions to agency requirements.</li>
<li>Carry use cases from existing Defense and Intelligence agencies into net-new agencies highlighting the depth and breadth of VulnCheck data into every day critical operations within the government.</li>

<ul><li>Have 5+ years of sales experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Defense and Intelligence agencies.</li>
<li>Have a proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals with multi-stakeholder and dynamic buying cycles.</li>
<li>Are experienced navigating federal procurement processes, contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, SEWP, GWACs), and government acquisition timelines.</li>
<li>Thrive in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.</li>

<li>Are comfortable using modern sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).</li>
