<div><p>Yates Engineers, part of The Yates Companies, is growing in their Greenville, SC office. We are looking for highly qualified Electrical Engineers with 10+ years of experience in heavy industrial projects who can perform lead engineering and design on these projects.</p>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program</li>
<li>Ability to obtain PE registration is required</li>
<li>At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering with an emphasis in consulting engineering</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in the application of the National Electrical code, engineering for electrical distribution systems, electrical equipment specifications, electrical requirements for hazardous area classifications, grounding and lighting design</li>
<li>Extensive experience in working with other engineering disciplines to ensure project scope details are captured</li>
<li>Experience working with general arrangements, P&amp;IDs, and process equipment lists to capture electrical engineering project scope</li>
<li>Experience developing, finalizing and checking electrical engineering documentation including, but not limited to, load lists, singe line diagrams, motor elementaries, electrical room layouts, grounding plans &amp; details, lighting plans, power plans with raceway routes, cable lists and electrical equipment specifications</li>
<li>Experience working with project schedules to incorporate electrical design activities and their associated logic ties with other disciplines&rsquo; design activities</li>
<li>Extensive experience working with process equipment vendors to review documentation and identify electrical scope and design requirements</li>
<li>Ability to travel to client sites to gather engineering field information and work with electrical client counterparts</li>
<li>Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD and Revit)</li>
<li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook</li>
<li>Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Experience leading electrical project teams including engineers and designers</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Experience mentoring other electrical engineers</li></ul></div>
