<div>Job Summary:
A Journeyman Millwright has extensive Industrial experience (including helper training) and is proficient in installing, maintaining, repairing, dismantling, and moving many types of machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial settings.
Overview of Primary Duties:
<ul><li>Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation, operation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
</li><li>Works with industry-specific and highly complex precision machines, including but not limited to:
<ul><li>Ball Mills
</li><li>ID Fans
</li><li>Lube Oil Skids
</li><li>Turbines
</li><li>Conveyors
</li><li>Generators
</li><li>Hydraulic Systems
</li><li>Pumps
</li><li>Gears
</li><li>Bearings
</li><li>Compressors etc.
</li></ul></li><li>Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
</li><li>Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
</li><li>Assembles and installs equipment including but not limited to:
<ul><li>Shafting
</li><li>Conveyors
</li><li>Tram Rails
</li><li>Ball Mills
</li><li>ID Fans
</li><li>Lube Oil Skids
</li><li>Turbines
</li><li>Conveyors
</li><li>Generators
</li><li>Hydraulic Systems
</li><li>Pumps
</li><li>Gears
</li><li>Bearings
</li><li>Compressors etc.
</li></ul></li><li>Fabricate steel bases for pumps and other equipment.
</li><li>Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
</li><li>Must know optical and laser alignments.
</li><li>Assembles machines by utilizing bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to a foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
</li><li>Grind, file, and sand parts to fit correctly, which may include operating an engine lathe and turning machine parts to dimensional specifications.
</li><li>May use transit and level for equipment setting.
</li><li>Must be able to set and anchor baseplates level and square and properly torque anchor bolts.
</li><li>Must be able to use drills, mag drills, Hougen drills, and other means to drill and tap holes accurately.
</li><li>Must know how to use precision tools such as dial indicators and micrometers to measure and adjust equipment.
</li><li>Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
</li><li>Performs lubricating maintenance by following cleaning activities and repairing tools, machines, and equipment.

<ul><li>Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work by the established Yates Safety Procedures and Work Practices

</li><li>Required to wear and maintain personal PPE.
</li><li>Advise fellow employees of hazardous situations.
</li><li>Participate in workplace inspections.
</li><li>Comply with statutory requirements, including duty of care.
</li><li>Participate in required and assigned training.
</li><li>Provide suggestions to improve Safety.
</li><li>Present a mature approach to working safely.
</li><li>Attend prestart and Safety meetings and contribute.
</li></ul></li><li>Other related duties as needed and assigned by Field Supervision.

</li></ul>Qualifications:
Level III:
<ul><li>Four (4) + years of heavy industrial-related millwright experience
</li><li>NCCER Millwright journeyman certification
</li></ul>Level II:
<ul><li>Four (4) + years of heavy industrial-related millwright experience
</li><li>NCCER &ldquo;Performance&rdquo; Millwright journeyman verification
</li><li>Other verified experiences or certifications with Millwright experience
</li></ul>Level I:
<ul><li>Four (4) + years of heavy industrial-related millwright experience
</li></ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>Read ISO's, Blueprints, P&amp;IDs, and Shop Drawings
</li><li>Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation
</li><li>Personal hand tools required for craft as established on the Yates Industrial Minimum Tool List
</li><li>Successful completion of required Safety training to include, but not limited to, Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights
</li></ul>Physical Demands/Essential Job Functions:

</li><li>Required to wear safety-approved body harnesses when working at 4&rsquo; or above
</li><li>Required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and lifting
</li><li>Ability to talk and hear to communicate
</li><li>Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools
</li><li>Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 25 lbs.
</li><li>Will use vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception, and peripheral vision
