 Job responsibilities:
 
 
 
 We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Mechanical Superintendent must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven leadership to manage the field operation
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide/review RFI's and submittals
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform mechanical take-offs.
 </li>
 <li>
 High knowledge of Blueprint comprehension
 </li>
 <li>
 Cost Management
 </li>
 <li>
 Effectively scheduling personnel
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer orientated and dedicated to the organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination and oversight of installation of small and large diameter ductile iron piping.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination and oversight of installation of water treatment plant process equipment, i.e., large pumps, flocculators, mixers, sludge collectors, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination and oversight of installation of wet and dry chemical feed systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination and oversight of installation of plumbing and HVAC systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination and oversight of installation of process instrumentation and controls
 </li>
 <li>
 Startup and commissioning of water treatment plant equipment and systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior management or supervisory experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive mechanical (piping) construction knowledge
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid working knowledge of computer programs, including Word, Excel, Foxit PDF, Procore and Outlook
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent problem solving and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 10 years overall experience
 </li>
