Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehousing<ul><li>
Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word &amp; Excel</li><li>

Collaborating with the purchasing department to resolve discrepancies in deliveries and documents.</li><li>
Documents checking for Checklist approvals to file BOE in Customs</li><li>
Invoice/Document verification (of suppliers) for valid charges before sending to Finance for payment.</li><li>
Doing GRN, Creating Sales Invoice, DCs , Work Orders with maintaining the proper flow of warehouse documentation following established procedures.</li><li>
Ensure the completion of all paperwork relating to inbound and outbound shipments.</li><li>
Keep an organized record of all shipments, invoices including freight charges.</li><li>
Monitor inventory records and file reports of discrepancies in quantities and damages to management</li><li>
Count or weigh parts to check quantity accuracy.</li><li>
Identify and address inventory reduction and relocation, and document correctly all such operations.</li><li>
Perform regular physical inventories, Cycle count of commodities in the warehouse. Maintain inventory records.</li></ul><ul><li>
Continuously improve processes to better safety, quality or efficiency</li><li>
Maintain a clean/organized work area through daily 5S and maintain equipment accordingly</li></ul><ul><li>
This position requires the ability to sit, stand and walk unassisted.</li><li>
Requires the use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.</li><li>
The employee is required to talk and hear. Normal correctable vision is required.</li></ul><ul><li>
Conduct daily pre-start meeting.</li><li>
Understand and assign daily priorities based on business requirements.</li><li>
Daily monitoring and supervision of all warehouse activities and warehouse staff, adjustment of daily workloads and priorities depending upon changing business priorities.</li><li>
Oversee warehouse receipts, deliveries and dispatches to ensure quality and quantity of commodities.</li><li>
Verify quality and count of commodities being received, collected and delivered from the Wabtec warehouse.</li><li>
Check all loads before they are dispatched; spot check all goods received.</li><li>
Become proficient in areas of Warehouse operations to cover daily operations if and when required. ie. Forklift operation</li><li>
Liaise with transport vendors as point of site contact</li><li>
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity through audit and correct material handling practices.</li><li>
Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner and escalate as required.</li><li>
Track and report non-conforming products to ensure transactional integrity.</li><li>
Supervise cleaning, maintenance and repair of the warehouse.</li></ul>

Material Coordinator

<div>Job Description 
Roles &amp; Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Scan the IREPS , GEM, Metro Rail Corporation&rsquo;s portals ( like Alstom, DMRC, BEML, etc. ), Indian Railway production unit&rsquo;s , Zonal Railway&rsquo;s websites for tenders being floated for Rubber to Metal bonded components suitable for LHB Coaches and Locomotives. Prepare a MIS capturing the entire tender details and circulate the list of tenders to be participated on a weekly or demand basis.</li><li>
Develop and manage business with leading metro line OEMs and Operators such as Alstom, BEML, DMRC,CMRL and other Metro Rail corporations by identifying opportunities ,participating in bids and maintaining Strong customer relationships.</li><li>
Prepare and submit competitive Techno &ndash; Commercial bids, lead negotiations with railway and metro customers and coordinate internal to secure approvals for participation in Tenders</li><li>
Interact with various departments like production, finance, and region offices for getting relevant information related to respective tenders.</li><li>
Prepare a bid proposal and present to the hierarchical manager for securing a &lsquo;GO&rsquo; to participate in the tender.</li><li>
Subsequent to the receipt of all relevant information form the cross functional teams and &lsquo;GO&rsquo; approval from hierarchical manager, should complete the entire bidding process in IREPS.</li><li>
After submission of the tender, gather tender opening results and do win-loss analysis and present the same to the hierarchical manager.</li><li>
Send all tender related documents including the offer and submissions made against the tender to respective regional teams for follow up of orders</li><li>
Coordinate with the production team for execution of orders within the delivery terms as defined in the purchase order.</li><li>
Coordinate with the external inspection agencies (RITES/RDSO) for getting the material inspected as per the specification and get the inspection certificates and all related documents within the shortest possible time</li><li>
With the support of regional teams, collect Receipt Notes and submit the same along with all other commercial documents in IREPS enabling the company to collect the payment towards the supplied material.</li><li>
Maintain a MIS of all dispatches made, material received by customer, payment received against the material delivered and outstanding payments to be collected.</li><li>
Performing any other duties which the company may require at all times</li><li>

Role Summary/Purpose
The Sr. Data Scientist, working as part of Wabtec&rsquo;s Digital Advanced Technologies (DAT) team will be responsible for architecting and deploying new advanced AI computer vision solutions throughout the freight and passenger transportation industry. DAT is a cross-disciplined entrepreneurial group that carries out applied research in AI/ML, designs and deploys cutting edge algorithms and new digital solutions throughout the Wabtec portfolio of businesses. The Sr. Data Scientist will work closely with DAT&rsquo;s ML engineers and Wabtec&rsquo;s cloud architects to deploy scalable machine learning and deep learning solutions in cloud and edge video analytics, robotics and automation systems.
Essential Responsibilities

Qualifications/Requirements<ul><li>
Masters in engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Robotics or Computer Science from an accredited university or college, or relevant and significant industry experience.</li><li>
Experience in the fields of AI/ML product development, generative AI, MLOps, edge computing</li><li>
Experience and proficiency in writing production worthy code python, GO or similar languages.</li><li>
Proficient with deep learning frameworks &ndash; (Open CV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace)</li><li>

Senior Machine learning engineer

Responsible for ensuring that specified materials are delivered to factories, service sites, or suppliers (as applicable) at the right time.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for order execution.</li><li>

Supplier Management<ul><li>
Ensuring timely PO placement and delivery of material with the right quality as per contractual arrangements.</li><li>

Continuous engagement with suppliers to monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) and drive improvement actions to enhance overall quality.</li><li>
Actively participating in and leading discussions related to material crises.</li><li>
Ensuring progress reports are received from suppliers in the correct format and on time.</li><li>
Identifying supplier-related material delays and establishing a back-charging process for any delays in deliveries.</li><li>
Working on dedicated OTD focus programs and performing analysis on top/worst suppliers. Collaborating with suppliers to overcome delays through agreed mitigation and corrective action plans.</li><li>
Meeting all KPIs related to the fulfillment function.</li><li>
Ensuring suppliers are paid on time.</li><li>
Cross-functional coordination</li><li>
Managing the entire order fulfillment cycle and working in tandem with Engineering, Service Shops, Process Specialists, Quality (Shop Supplier), Sourcing, and Logistics teams for timely supplies.</li><li>
Coordinating with other functions to manage timely inspections, NCR resolution, and transportation.</li><li>
Engaging the right people (PQ/Process Specialists, etc.) for first product development in coordination with Sourcing and SQE.</li><li>
Establishing close collaboration with Wabtec network factories for managing exigencies and offshore suppliers.</li><li>
Attending all daily shop/material review meetings and managing exigencies in line with shop requirements.</li></ul> 
Reporting and Material Visibility<ul><li>
Providing 100% material visibility and tracking across the organization.</li><li>
Managing material movement between different suppliers and factories and keeping track of all free-issue material.</li><li>
Incorporating best fulfillment practices and tools (MIN-MAX Scheduling/MRP Planning, etc.) used in other factory/service shop locations and working with the broader team for rollout.</li><li>
Leading/participating in supplier performance improvement and rating programs.</li></ul>
Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>
BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute.</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s in Materials Management preferred.</li></ul>
