Role Overview

Wadan Developments is looking for a proactive, creative, and highly hands-on Social Media Executive to manage and grow the brand’s presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable behind the camera, editing content, managing social channels, and identifying opportunities in real time.

This role requires someone who understands that strong social media is not only about planned campaigns. It is also about consistently capturing the people, activity, projects, culture, and everyday moments happening around the brand and transforming them into relevant, polished content.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Management

· Manage and maintain Wadan Developments’ social media channels on a day-to-day basis.

· Manage platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant channels.

· Ensure all social media profiles remain updated, active, accurate, and aligned with the Wadan brand.

· Publish and schedule content according to the approved social media and marketing calendar.

· Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual language, captions, messaging, and overall presentation.

· Monitor comments, messages, mentions, tags, and conversations around the brand.

· Coordinate responses or escalate enquiries to the appropriate internal team when required.

· Stay alert to social media activity throughout the working day and identify opportunities that require immediate action.

Content Creation & Production

· Independently shoot high-quality videos and photographs for social media using professional cameras and mobile devices when appropriate.

· Capture everyday activities taking place within the Wadan Sales Gallery and across the business.

· Regularly document sales gallery activity, internal meetings, sales meetings, project briefing sessions, team interactions, broker meetings, events and activations, project launches, behind-the-scenes moments, site visits, project updates, company milestones, and announcements.

· Accompany Sales Managers or relevant team members on selected visits to broker offices, partner meetings, events, and external activities to capture social media content.

· Identify spontaneous content opportunities without always requiring a formal brief.

· Create Reels, Stories, short-form videos, carousels, photographs, and other social-first formats.

Video & Photo Editing

· Edit short-form videos independently for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and other social formats.

· Edit and enhance photographs for digital publishing.

· Add appropriate typography, music, transitions, subtitles, graphics, and brand elements.

· Adapt content into different formats and dimensions required by each social platform.

· Maintain a premium and contemporary editing style appropriate for a luxury real estate brand.

· Deliver content efficiently when quick turnaround is required.

Content Planning

· Work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive, Graphic Designers, PR & Communications Executive, Events Executive, Sales Team, and other internal departments.

· Contribute ideas to the monthly and weekly social media calendar.

· Plan content around project launches, campaigns, events, construction updates, corporate announcements, partnerships, and important UAE occasions.

· Maintain a healthy balance between brand, project, lifestyle, corporate, sales-focused, behind-the-scenes, and real-time/social-first content.

· Build and maintain an organised content library of photographs, videos, raw footage, and social assets.

Trends & Social Awareness

· Stay continuously updated on Instagram and TikTok trends, content formats, platform updates, algorithm changes, trending audio, editing styles, real estate content trends, and luxury/lifestyle content.

· Identify relevant trends early and determine how they can be adapted intelligently for Wadan without compromising the brand’s premium positioning.

· Regularly monitor leading developers, luxury brands, hospitality brands, creators, and international brands for inspiration and benchmarking.

· Recommend new content formats and social opportunities proactively.

Community & Brand Presence

· Help build an active and engaged community around Wadan Developments.

· Monitor brand mentions and user-generated content.

· Identify content from brokers, partners, creators, customers, and events that can potentially be reposted or amplified.

· Support creator and influencer collaborations when required.

· Assist during events and launches with real-time Stories, photography, short videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage.

Reporting & Performance

· Monitor social media performance across all platforms.

· Track key metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, video views, watch time, follower growth, saves, shares, profile visits, and content performance.

· Prepare regular social media performance reports.

· Identify which content formats and topics perform best and recommend improvements based on performance data.

· Use insights to continuously improve the content strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

· 4-6 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role.

· Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.

· Strong photography and videography skills.

· Ability to shoot confidently using both smartphones and professional cameras.

· Strong short-form video editing skills.

· Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, CapCut, Canva, and ideally Adobe After Effects or similar tools.

· Understanding of vertical video, Reels, TikTok, Stories, and social-first storytelling.

· Good copywriting and caption-writing ability.

· Strong awareness of social media trends and digital culture.

· Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.

· Experience within real estate, luxury, hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, or premium brands would be an advantage.

AI & Digital Tools

The candidate should be comfortable using modern AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and content creation. Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Higgsfield, Midjourney, or other AI-powered creative platforms would be considered an advantage. AI should be used to enhance ideation, editing, research, scripting, content development, and workflow efficiency while maintaining Wadan’s creative and brand standards.
