Production Control AssociateResponsibilities:&middot; Releases / Issues work orders for manufactured products.&middot; Accommodates known constraints such as capacity, staffing and material supply in order to maximize throughput through process bottlenecks.&middot; Utilize capacity planning tools to effectively balance workload&middot; Participate in the planning and scheduling of new product launches and product end of life discontinuations&middot; Work with Purchasing to ensure materials delivered achieves schedule requirements.&middot; Ensure proper scheduling of materials for production in accordance with customer demands and equipment availability.&middot; Prioritizes work orders and communicates expedites when needed&middot; Monitors work order status to provide expected completion and ship date to the customer.&middot; Maintain ERP system production schedules are accurate and up to date.&middot; Manage and maintain inventory levels where applicable. WIP, Sub-Assembly components, Finished Goods.&middot; Acts as the primary contact for customers, ensuring proper communication of product status.&middot; Ensure proper communication of production issues with appropriate departments.&middot; Coordinates shipping requirements with shipping department and customer.&middot; Monitors on time delivery performance&middot; Performs additional duties or tasks, as assigned.Skills, knowledge:&middot; Understanding of demand planning, production planning, and production scheduling&middot; Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks&middot; Experience working with ERP and MRP systems&middot; Strong data analysis, problem solving skills and mathematical ability&middot; Ability to work independently or in a team environment&middot; Knowledge of product manufacturing process&middot; Excellent oral and written communications skills&middot; Experience using Microsoft Office &ndash; Excel, Word, OutlookPosition includes an excellent compensation package including health, dental, vision insurance, vacation, paid holidays and 401K match.
