The Branch Shop Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the shop and is responsible for conducting business in a manner that compliments Wagner&rsquo;s Core Values, Statement of Purpose, and safety policies.

Pay Rate: $69,193.31-$94,822.28 annually. 
Pay is based upon experience and education. 
Location: 2011 W Bender Blvd, Hobbs, NM

Essential Functions:

<li>Supervises the day-to-day operations of the shop, including job assignments for Technicians</li>
<li>Consults with manager to reach agreement on annual objectives, and carries out programs to meet these objectives</li>
<li>Develops and manages annual shop budget</li>
<li>Provides adequate reports as needed for Sales, Engineering, and other areas of the company</li>
<li>Initiates and closes all shop work orders as necessary and ensures maintenance of all relevant files and data</li>
<li>Monitors and ensures Work In Progress (WIP) is being completed within specified time frames</li>
<li>Insures that customers are informed of the progress of the WIP, receive and approve updated quotes, and that the invoice is an accurate reflection of the final quote</li>
<li>Works closely with Manager in the development and implementation of policies pertaining to the production operation</li>
<li>Plans short and long-term requirements on equipment and facilities, and makes recommendations to Manager</li>
<li>Maintains positive control on all house and service accounts</li>
<li>Audits and follows correct procedures for expense accounts</li>
<li>Audits and follows correct procedures for the procurement of tools and supplies</li>
<li>Ensures shop is maintained in a clean and safe manner</li>
<li>Handles and executes warranty in the best interest of the company</li>
<li>Provides and maintains safety equipment</li>
<li>Oversees implementation of safety programs and safety training</li>
<li>Sets standards for and enforces contamination control efforts</li>
<li>Where applicable, establishes and maintains close relationships with Sales and Engineering personnel of Wagner Power Systems on projects</li>
<li>Maintains quality control over all projects</li>
<li>Participates in emergency / on call rotation with other managers</li>
<li>Works closely with internal customers to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost effective manner</li>
<li>Maintains knowledge and understanding of products</li>
<li>Designs installation of, and purchases, equipment for accessories on some projects</li>
<li>Where applicable, inspects and verifies functionality and serviceability for all projects and works with Engineering if changes are required</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by manager</li>
</ul>
Required Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Some college or trade school preferred</li>
<li>8+ years in a responsible position within the heavy equipment service industry</li>
<li>3+ years administrative/clerical</li>
<li>5+ years customer service experience</li>
<li>1+ years sales experience</li>
<li>3+ years supervisory/management experience</li>
</ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Depending on location, may oversee some or all of the following: Journeyman, Class A, B, C Technicians and Welders, Shop Leads, Assistant Shop Manager, Service Clerks, Utility Workers, Inspector, Service Writers, and Senior Apprentices</li>
<li>Hires, trains, and directs a working staff sufficient to efficiently perform the highest amount of service work</li>
<li>Provides on-going performance feedback, and conducts timely special and annual performance reviews, making recommendations for status or salary adjustments</li>
<li>Ensures service personnel coverage on weekends, holidays, and for emergency service work</li>
<li>Works with Wagner Training Institute to assess and meet training needs for employees</li>
</ul>

<li>Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication &amp; math skills</li>

<li>Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of DMS and ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW</li>
</ul>

The Office Services Clerk is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks supporting prompt timely processing of mail, maintenance of accurate files in compliance with departmental systems, and quality microfilming of documents.

Pay Rate: $15.66 - $22.05 per hour 
Pay rate is dependent upon education &amp; experience.

Essential Functions:

<li>Assists in other departments as time allows</li>
<li>Assists with receptionist duties</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by manager</li>

Required Education and Experience:

<li>1+ years general office experience</li>
