Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following and other duties may be assigned:

Perform entrance control: Enforce the District's entry and identification system which includes operating security screening equipment to detect weapons, contraband, and prohibited items, checking items such as handbags, briefcases, computers, packages, baby carriages, wheelchairs, etc.

Perform roving patrol: Patrol court facilities and grounds of the facility in accordance with applicable post orders.

Perform stationary post assignments: Stand guard at stationary posts which include (but not limited to) monitoring closed-circuit television, duress alarm systems and other security equipment, courtrooms, judge chambers, and jury rooms.

Perform escort duties: When directed, provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, jurors, and other designated individuals.

Perform garage parking and pedestrian control: Where applicable, direct traffic and control lights on court facility properties, as described in the post orders and/or standard operating procedures.

Enforce law and order: Enforce federal law while in the performance of assigned duties. This includes (but not limited to) detaining any person attempting to gain unauthorized access to Government property, or a court proceeding(s), or attempting to commit acts that imperil the safety and security of Government employees, property, and the public.

Prepare reports and records: Prepare various reports and records regarding contract performance issues, such as labor hours worked, accidents, fire, bomb threats, unusual incidents, or unlawful acts that occurred within the court facility area.

Court attendance: Responsible for securing unattended courtrooms, an inspection of courtrooms prior to a proceeding, testing of security devices, and other duties concerning security of the court area.

Preserve order: Responsible for providing security presence in the courtroom, enforcing federal law and judicial orders within the courtroom, enforcing local court rules regarding prohibited items, and providing protection to court proceedings as circumstances dictate.

Requirements

<div>Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least three (3) calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or its military equivalency (Master-at-Arms, CGPD, Security Forces Specialist, etc.); all three (3) years must have occurred within the last seven (7) years. The experience must have included general arrest authority.

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must possess the ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and a safe driving record for the past five years; Must receive clearance from the Department of Justice. Must have completed or graduated from certified Federal, state, county, local or military law enforcement training academy and able to provide certification as proof.

Other Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age; Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

<div>SUMMARY 
Account Managers manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities of all assigned Security Officers at the field level, and execute all tasks related to maintaining prescribed standards in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications Companies, manufacturing and industrial factories, Hospitals, and many others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Other duties may be assigned by the Branch General Manager / Senior Operations Manager.</li>
<li>Maintains security operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.</li>
<li>Provides input to the development of service strategy and research and development of new and emerging services</li>
<li>Maintains accountability for ensuring the successful implementation of new contract start-up, including personnel requirements, materials, training, subcontract, facility, tooling, and equipment needs.</li>
<li>Takes a proactive approach in meeting client needs; meets with clients regularly, listens to issues, provides security and technical expertise, and offers solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met</li>
<li>Organizes operating activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum service and utilization of human resources and equipment; creates action plans around key problem areas and constraints</li>
<li>Reviews service and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, service, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent lost coverage</li>
<li>Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of assigned account operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving data for reports</li>
<li>Partners with Human Resources to ensure thorough training of all assigned employees in client, company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Coordinates and/or conducts site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meets corporate training standards</li>
<li>Meets all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime. Ensures that overtime costs are managed effectively within the company's targets</li>
<li>Reconciles security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; reviews incident reports before submitting to the client, and coordinates preliminary investigations\</li>
<li>Performs account audits and off-hour visits, completing required documentation</li>
<li>Develops/maintains operational procedures so that valid, site-specific post orders are always available for reference by the security staff</li>
<li>Manages uniforms, equipment, supplies &amp; vehicle needs at each client site; maintains inventory of equipment</li>
<li>Maintains responsibility for assigned account(s) and security personnel seven days a week. Although supervision is in place, the Account Manager must be available via cell phone for emergency or placement purposes. All contacts/calls must be responded to promptly.</li>
</ul>
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages 1-5 subordinates who supervise up to 100 employees of said account/posts. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the sites. Also, directly supervises approximately 100 hourly employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
