Walker &amp; Dunlop Investment Sales (WDIS) represents the nation&rsquo;s premier multifamily owners, developers, and operators with the highest level of investment advisory service. The Impact You Will Have</div></div><div></div><div><div><br>
The primary role of the senior analyst is to support production members of the Walker &amp; Dunlop Investment Sales team with financial modeling of multifamily assets along with producing institutional quality marketing materials and maintaining detailed market analysis. Candidates with a strong analytical ability, high attention to detail, and an interest to hone quantitative skills will excel in this position.</div></div><div></div><div><div><br>
Primary Responsibilities</div></div><div></div><div><ul><li><div><br>
Financial analysis of multifamily opportunities, including existing, value add, and ground-up developments using proprietary WDIS underwriting model</div></li><li><div>
Actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of W&amp;D Investment Sales marketing offering memorandums (OMs) and Broker Opinion of Values (BOVs) Research and maintain databases which track Investment Sales activity, construction pipeline, and other relevant real estate metrics</div></li><li><div>
Develop and maintain market knowledge through regular reading of industry trade journals, economic forecasts, and news-related periodicals</div></li><li><div>
Assist in the creation and editing of &ldquo;state of the market&rdquo; presentations given at national conferences and in private client meetings</div></li><li><div>
Conduct transaction coordination and due diligence coordination for the Investment Sales team</div></li><li><div>
Maintain files to ensure all mandatory disclosures are completed and sent to the appropriate parties for review and approval</div></li><li><div>
Contact interested parties to remind them of missing documents</div></li><li><div>
Provide a consistent, quality-controlled system to ensure the smooth and efficient management of all relevant steps necessary to close a deal</div></li><li><div>
Monitor and assess the progress of sales so that important deadlines are met and contingencies are released</div></li><li><div>
Provide preliminary audits of files for management review</div></li><li><div>
Perform other duties as assigned</div></li><li><div>
Attendance is generally 8:30 am &ndash; 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div><br>
Education and Experience</div></div><div></div><div><ul><li><div><br>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Finance and/or Real Estate concentration preferred)</div></li><li><div>
2+ years of experience in Finance, Real Estate or related field preferred</div></li></ul></div><div><div><br>
