Position summary</h1>
We&rsquo;re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build the core infrastructure behind the new WallStreetBets platform, powering real-time data, earnings call insights, social sentiment, community feeds, and trader-focused tools.
You'll work across the stack to ship high-performance, scalable features used by millions of traders. From backend services and APIs to front-end components and data-driven experiences, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in defining the engineering foundation of a globally recognized fintech product.

What you&rsquo;ll do:</h1><ul><li>
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.</li><li>
Develop responsive, high-quality web features using modern frontend frameworks.</li><li>
Work with real-time financial data, websockets, event-driven systems, and market APIs.</li><li>
Build community-driven experiences such as feeds, notifications, and sentiment tools.</li><li>
Implement dashboards and interfaces that make financial data clear and accessible.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with product, design, and mobile teams to deliver features quickly.</li><li>
Improve overall system performance, reliability, testing, and automation.</li><li>

What you bring:</h1><ul><li>
5+ years of software engineering experience in a full stack or backend-focused role.</li><li>
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Java.</li><li>
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Svelte.</li><li>
Strong understanding of RESTful or GraphQL API design and integration.</li><li>
Comfort working with relational or NoSQL databases.</li><li>
Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing practices (TDD, automated tests).</li><li>
Confidence developing with modern application security best practices</li><li>
A strong sense of ownership, product thinking, and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.</li><li>
