Walt Churchill&rsquo;s Market is looking for a Full-Time Marketing Manager for our Corporate Office in Maumee, OH.
Help shape how customers experience WCM. As part of our employee owned team, the Marketing Manager crafts omni-channel campaigns, aligns with cross-functional partners, and leads a creative team to tell our story with clarity, consistency, and impact.
Essential Responsibilities:<ul><li> 
Develop and execute the company&rsquo;s comprehensive marketing strategy, including a yearly campaign and event calendar designed to attract new customers and retain existing ones.</li><li>Communicate effectively and timely, both internally and externally</li><li>Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring responsible spending, monitoring ROI, and supporting P&amp;L projections.</li><li>Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify customer opportunities and inform strategic decisions.</li><li>Build and maintain strong brand awareness and positioning, ensuring a unified brand voice across all platforms.</li><li>Monitor marketing performance, analyze data trends, and adjust strategies to optimize results.</li><li>Develop social media and website content with an understanding of SEO, aligning efforts with sales and Marketing goals.</li><li>Oversee and manage the customer loyalty program (AppCard).</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by responding to and sharing customer feedback, questions, and concerns.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and utilize modern marketing tools to regularly monitor and report on campaign performance.</li><li>Collaborate with the Marketing team to manage the social media calendar and create engaging content that reflects WCM&rsquo;s products and brand.</li><li>Manage graphics and messaging for weekly specials, flyers, and circulars.</li><li>Partner with Leadership, Sales, and store teams to develop social media, email, and marketing content that drives sales while preserving brand integrity.</li><li>Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas and recommendations.</li><li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with Leadership, Sales, Store Management, and Department Managers through open and frequent communication.</li><li>Prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently to meet deadlines.</li><li>Set a positive, professional example and promote constructive change within the company.</li><li>Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.</li><li>Strengthen the WCM brand across all internal, external, personal, and professional channels.</li><li>Demonstrate a mindset that is customer-focused, product-minded, detail-oriented, forward-thinking, and consistent.</li><li>Effectively supervise Marketing Department staff.</li><li>Show commitment to continuous improvement by integrating constructive feedback and supporting team and individual achievement.</li><li>Professionally represent WCM when working with service providers, contractors, and press.</li><li>Facilitate communications surrounding charitable donation requests.</li><li>Provide support as needed to ensure the overall success of the company.</li></ul>

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities<ul><li>Demonstrated ability to assess situations and make sound, high-impact decisions.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, brand development principles, and creative production processes.</li><li>Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Willingness and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed to support Marketing and social media initiatives.</li><li>Proficiency in design and office software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Strong leadership capabilities paired with strategic thinking and effective &amp; timely communication skills.</li></ul>
Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelors degree in marketing, communication, business or related field preferred</li><li>2-3 years marketing experience or combination of education, training, and experience</li><li>Experience with basic photographic principles&mdash;such as color management, lighting, editing, and staging&mdash;to produce high-quality imagery for print, digital, and video advertising.</li><li>Some public relations or professional communications knowledge and/or experience preferred</li><li>Experience in a retail grocery environment, strongly preferred</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.</li><li>Ability to travel to various worksites to complete assigned duties.</li><li>Occasional instances of lifting and carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, and reaching</li></ul></div>
