Goss Law is a small firm located in the North Loop of Minneapolis. Our practice areas include personal injury, and immigration.We are currently hiring for a bilingual (English/Spanish) legal assistant. Experience is not necessary &ndash; as this is an entry-level position and we are willing to train the right candidate --, but any legal or office experience would be appreciated. As a Legal Assistant, you will work closely with attorneys, providing administrative assistance and conducting legal research. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of law.All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, as we are hoping to hire a candidate who is looking for a place to learn and grow along with our firm. We do require that all applicants submit a cover letter and resume.Duties may include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Assisting with drafting of legal documents</li><li>Organizing legal correspondence</li><li>Answering phones, speaking, and meeting with both potential and existing clients.</li><li>Communicating with other professional offices</li><li>Opening and closing files, drafting correspondence, and ongoing file management by utilizing legal software as CLIO to input and track case information accurately.</li><li>Assisting with paperwork for client files</li><li>Copying, scanning, and maintaining file organization</li><li>Management of attorneys&rsquo; calendars</li><li>Some litigation support, including e-filing and e-serving documents</li></ul>Requirements include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Fluency in both English and Spanish, professionally written and spoken</li><li>Strong computer skills</li><li>Strong writing skills</li><li>Strong organization skills</li><li>Ability to self-direct and work independently</li><li>Excellent customer service and interactions with people from a wide variety of backgrounds</li></ul>We offer:<ul><li>Competitive wage based on experience</li><li>Included parking</li><li>A business-casual work environment</li><li>Medical allowance</li><li>PTO and paid federal holidays</li></ul>PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates noting fluency level of English and Spanish will be considered.
