 Wanhua is looking for a Financial Accountant in Istanbul, Turkey, to be responsible for the construction of the local financial system in Turkey and the subsequent financial operation.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 General Accounting
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintaining the legal accounting books of the company in compliance with the Turkish Commercial Code, the Tax Procedure Law, and the Uniform Accounting Chart of Accounts issued by the Ministry of Finance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verification and daily recording of invoices, bank statements and related accounting documents according to Turkish GAAP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Calculating and recording monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing entries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in external audit processes, providing required documentation and supporting audit queries.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Tax Compliance
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Handling all invoicing, accounting, accounting books, tax and SSI related compliance matters of the company
 </li>
 <li>
 Have a basic understanding of Turkey tax laws for import trade-related enterprises. Support tax firms for preparation and filing of income tax, VAT, and other statutory taxes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to the relevant questions raised by the tax authorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist audit firms in providing corresponding tax information.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Financial Reporting
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements according to local GAAP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist cooperate with headquarter to complete the disclosure of regular reports.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Others
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 SAP localization
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiency.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Education:
 
 Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field;
 
 
 
 2. Experience:
 
 3+ years in finance/accounting.
 
 
 
 3. Language:
 
 Fluent in English (written &amp; spoken) for daily calls and emails.
 
 
 
 4. Skills
 
 
 
 
 -
 
 Experience in SAP systems and advanced Excel.
 
 
 
 -
 
 Familiarity with local GAAP
 
 
 and basic knowledge of international accounting regulations
 
 
 - Prior experience in a multinational company is highly preferred.
 
 
 
 5. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
