The Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving sales goals by attaining new group submission contracts, developing broker growth plans, and / or new member acquisitions using effective sales techniques to engage and support brokers and/or members. Under minimal supervision, the Executive Sales Consultant&rsquo;s primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Maintain frequent and effective contact with brokers and build active selling relationships to increase sales of all product lines. Prospect inactive brokers to find new sales opportunities. Provide product and technology training for brokers and brokerage staff. Make outbound sales calls and follow-up calls to active and potential brokers.
 In addition, the Executive Sales Consultant will conduct training seminars/webinars describing the tools and opportunities available to them through Warner Pacific. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Develops and implements sales strategies, and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new medical and specialty business through agents/brokers</li><li>
Conducts agency training and assists agents in the development of marketing plans and lead acquisition including, but not limited to agent websites, quoting and e-mail marketing.</li><li>
Maintain frequent and effective contact with brokers and build active selling relationships to increase sales of all product lines.</li><li>
Prospect new or inactive brokers to find new sale opportunities.</li><li>
Participate in a variety of industry events and conferences to generate new agency leads and develop new business opportunities.</li><li>
Make outbound sales calls and follow- up calls to active brokers and high potential brokers.</li><li>
Handle inbound sales calls and product support inquiries written and verbal from brokers.</li><li>
Demonstrate a solid understanding of our carrier partner&rsquo;s underwriting appetites, services and products.</li><li>
Knowledgeable of current industry trends.</li></ul>
Overview of Responsibilities<ul><li>
Maintain insurance license.</li><li>
Meet or achieve sales goals from new group submissions.</li><li>
Broker outreach to potential and active brokers to increase sales volume and provide carrier/plan consultative services to brokers and / or members to assist with new purchasing decisions.</li><li>
Participate in marketing events and exhibits, present Warner Pacific&rsquo;s Value Add Proposition to actively recruit new brokers.</li><li>
Coordinate, communicate and educate with team members to ensure broker messaging and communication is consistent.</li><li>
Document leads and communication in Sales Force</li><li>
Make note of potential workflow enhancements and. communicate to supervisor for consideration.</li><li>
Work with supervisor and marketing to develop appropriate marketing materials.</li><li>
Conduct all business activities with a sales acumen and a goal of providing only the soundest purchasing recommendations to brokers and / or members.</li><li>
Demonstrate consistent, outstanding judgment, honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance.</li><li>
Ability to identify and maintain the most efficient process to reach required outcome.</li><li>
Provide back up in other areas within the department/company as needed/requested.</li><li>
Other activities as assigned.</li></ul>
 Additional Skills and Requirements<ul><li>
Minimum of a high school diploma and or advanced education or degree preferred.</li><li>
Must reside within 30 miles of the territory.</li><li>
4-6 years of Insurance Sales experience &ndash; (preferred).</li><li>
Agent / Agency contacts &ndash; (preferred)</li><li>
Valid Texas life/health insurance license. &ndash; (preferred). Need to be able to pass Texas State exam, if not in possession of a valid life/health insurance license.</li><li>
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques.</li><li>
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Ability to self-start and think/act independently and in concert with co-workers, management and customers.</li><li>
Exceptional interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Exceptional organizational skills.</li><li>
Exceptional written and oral communication, as well as presentation, skills.</li><li>
Demonstrate ability to maintain and foster positive, open communication channels with internal and external customers, with emphasis on sales force and carrier partners.</li><li>

Ability to perform the majority of required work at the designated Warner Pacific office, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to travel as needed.</li><li>
Computer literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.</li><li>
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift a minimum of 5 pounds, file, stand, bend, reach and pull.</li></ul>
 Compensation<ul><li>
Salary Range* - $71,250 - $95,000 annually, plus bonus.</li><li>
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level.</li><li><ul><li>The salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role. at the time of this posting. The company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
