Receptionist Dermatology Office (Greenwich Village)ReceptionistWe are a busy dermatology practice in NYC in search of friendly, adaptable, dedicated, compassionate and mature applicants for a Full Time Receptionist Position! Part Time available for discussion as well.The focus of the practice is on medical and cosmetic dermatology. Patients always come first and the goal is a pleasant and efficient experience from the moment they step into the office until the moment they leave. All staff is a reflection of the practice and should convey a positive image.JOB SUMMARYReceptionist:Responsible for answering phones, greeting patients upon arrival, ensuring their comfort and coordinating their visit with providers in an efficient and pleasant manner, clear and effective communication with patients by phone and in person. Schedule and confirm appointments, quote prices and review procedure, inventory, update digital documents, maintain appearance of the front office and waiting area, process payments. Verify patient insurance information.RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:- Communication skills-written and verbal - Outstanding listening skills and ability to empathize with others - Appropriate sense of discretion on dealing with varied and difficult situations - Ability to multitask, assist and support in front desk tasks as needed (answering phones, scheduling patients etc.) - Enter patient demographics and information into the computer system. - Facilitate sending and/or receiving any necessary patient medical records. - Obtain diagnostic reports, notes, or referral information - Support medical billing functionsEXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIRED:-High School Degree -Background in dermatology preferred -Minimum of one year related experience preferred -Excellent computer skills -Multitasker -Exceptional Organization Skills -Ability to adapt and grow -Receptive to constructive feedback -Ability to foster positive work relationships and maintain effective communication -Team player -Understanding of HIPPA compliance laws a plusBENEFITS:- 401K Benefit plan offered- $500 monthly stipend given towards health insurance- Complimentary cosmetic procedures- Lunch provided on regular basis-PTO timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
