Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Physical Therapist at Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Your expertise will enable our patients to recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, and return to their daily lives with confidence and independence.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with varying conditions and diagnoses</li><li>
Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations, including assessment of physical function, range of motion, strength, and mobility</li><li>
Develop and modify treatment plans to address patient goals and objectives</li><li>
Implement and supervise physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and strengthening programs</li><li>
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care coordination</li><li>
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and progress</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program</li><li>
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut</li><li>
Minimum 0 years of experience in a similar setting</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>

Physical Therapist, Fulltime

<div>Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for skilled CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistant) to become a part of our facility&rsquo;s compassionate care-giving team. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

Multiple openings on all shifts.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals</li>
<li>Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers</li>
<li>Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths</li>
<li>Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient&rsquo;s chart</li>
<li>Assist the nurses and other staff as needed</li>
<li>Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards</li></ul> 


Up to date CNA certificate required for consideration.</div>
