<div>ABOUT THE ROLE
Bartenders prepare and serve beverages &amp; food to local customers and hotel guests. With extensive knowledge of common drinks, cocktails, beers, and wines, you will be in charge of managing drink orders at our hotel restaurant-lounge. Bartenders-Servers earn outstanding tips in our high energy lounge at Watt. Live Jazz offered every Friday &amp; Saturday night.
Essential Duties:<ul><li>
Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.</li><li>
Ability to bend, reach, and repeat motions.</li><li>
Ability to lift stock up to 50 lbs. occasionally.</li></ul>
Specific Requirements of this role:<ul><li>
Mix and serve alcohol and non-alcohol drinks for guests following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions.</li><li>
Serve alcohol beverages responsibility, request identification, and adhere to all company alcohol service policies and procedures.</li><li>
Serve food at the bar and in the dining room for customers &amp; hotel guests.
</li><li>Enter drink &amp; food orders into the POS system, collect payment from guests for drinks served, and make correct change.</li><li>
Complete sales and inventory reports accurately.</li><li>
Maintain bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.</li><li>
Clean and store bar equipment and bar stock.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Must be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>
At least 1 year of front-of-house bartender-server experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant required; hotel experience preferred.</li><li>
Formal bartender education preferred.</li><li>
Basic math and computer skills.</li><li>
POS experience required.
</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.</li></ul></div>
