 Do you enjoy variety and the opportunity to work on something different every day? Waukesha County Central Fleet is hiring a
 
 Mechanic
 
 to repair and maintain the equipment that supports critical County operations, including the Public Works, Sheriff&rsquo;s, and Parks departments.
 
 
 This is a
 
 first-shift, Monday through Friday
 
 position, and Waukesha County provides
 
 all tools, uniforms, and reimbursements
 
 for items such as work boots and safety glasses.

 Minimum Training &amp; Experience Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or GED.
 </li>
 <li>
 Three (3) years of experience in the major overhaul and repair of diesel and gasoline powered vehicles and equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recognized post high school training directly in mechanical maintenance may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to one (1) year's work experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with airbrake endorsement within six (6) months of employment.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
